Manual entry should be allowed even if a route hasn’t been sent yet or wasn’t received. There are constant issues with the Fastrak site not sending the route to the scanner. Same than the company ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 3/5 — “SNAP” Delay and “DELIVER” Suggestion *2023-12-19* After hitting “SNAP” for a picture there is a horrid delay. The picture comes out blurry even if you move just slightly (after 2-3 seconds.) Also, after hitting “Deliver” it would be awesome to see a quick 3 second prompt showing “You delivered to (the coordinates, street name)”. ### 3/5 — Decent but could be fixed *2021-03-24, version 1.4.2* Developers, please FIX option for manual entry. On android, after selecting manual entry, tracking numbers can be deselected and selected. On this app, once a box is deselected, one cannot select a new package from manual entry and unable to add if barcode became bad on delivery route. Otherwise process seems to be as smooth as android! ### 3/5 — Needs work *2021-01-29, version 1.2.1* Initially I used an IPhone 7 with T-mobile data service. Atrocious. Awful. It would freeze constantly and cause me to exit. Most frustrated I’ve ever been delivering. However, I got an iPhone SE with Verizon and its own line. Night and day difference. I did put my phone on “low power” to conserve the battery and I still had 45% left after 190 stops. SUGGESTIONS: 1) Allow an RF scanner to work with the route in the app. I’ve found it works with Out for Delivery mode, but it will only work with deliveries if you have multiple packages to the same stop. In the “Search” line, allow searches for barcodes, that would probably enable the scanner to work, only after tapping in the search bar though. 1B) Scanner OD. Even though I’ve found an RF scanner works with Out for Delivery, I have to tap into the “Enter Package Barcode” line every time I scan another package. I can set the scanner up to “Tab” or “Enter” after every scan, but I don’t know what the function would be in the app to get it to return to the package barcode line without tapping my screen. It would streamline my scanning if the cursor would automatically return to the line after scanning. 2) Reduce scrolling. When setting up the “location of delivery,” have it automatically set to “front door” instead of having to scroll to it. 95% of the time, that’s where it’s left, it would help a lot to reduce looking at the phone. 3) Templates. To advance on point 2, set up templates for deliveries. Where one could scan a package and get to click once to confirm everything in one step, that the package was clear to leave, at the correct address, and it was left at the front door, again, reducing time looking at the phone. 4) Flashlight. When scanning at night, and after having activated the flash light once, configure it so it comes back on automatically every time a package is scanned instead of having to do it manually every time. The app isn’t terrible but it could use some polish. I would imagine that someone with less reliable service or an older phone would be frustrated endlessly with it as I was initially.
