## What is Oteo?

Oteo tells you the moment train tickets in Spain go on sale for the day you want to travel, so you can book before the cheapest fares are gone. And once you have your ticket, follow your train in real time.

Renfe, Ouigo and Iryo don't open every date at once: each releases tickets in batches, at its own pace, with no fixed calendar. Oteo keeps watch for you and only gets in touch when there's something new.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick your origin, destination and day, with ±1, ±2 or ±3 days of flexibility and a departure time window if you like.
2. Oteo keeps an eye on Renfe's timetables and on Ouigo's and Iryo's sales-opening calendars.
3. As soon as tickets are out, you get a notification with the trains for your day and a link to the operator's website. Buy wherever you like: Oteo doesn't sell tickets or take a commission.

While you wait, you can see each operator's status (on sale, not yet, or no service on that route) and, with Oteo Premium, the calendar of upcoming announced sales openings.

YOUR TRAIN, LIVE
Share your ticket with Oteo (PDF or Wallet pass) and the trip is added for you, or pick the train yourself. Oteo tracks it with Renfe's open data: delay, next stop, expected arrival time and position on the map. It tells you if it's delayed or cancelled and, while it's running, you have it on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on your Apple Watch.
Oteo doesn't make anything up: if your train doesn't publish its position, Oteo shows the timetable rather than telling you it's on time without knowing.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Widgets with your next trip and the status of your alerts.

YOUR MONTH, ON A TICKET
Kilometres, trips, cities, your most frequent route, total delay and the CO₂ you save compared with driving or flying. With an image ready to share.

WHAT OTEO DOESN'T DO
It doesn't make bookings: it takes you to the operator's website so you can buy there. And it doesn't cover Cercanías or Rodalies commuter trains.

NO ACCOUNTS
No sign-up and no passwords. Your trips and your monthly summary are stored only on your iPhone. In English and Spanish.

OTEO PREMIUM
The free plan includes one active alert and one upcoming trip, and train tracking is free. With Oteo Premium you get unlimited alerts and trips, the sales-opening calendar, your full trip history and the full monthly summary.
Weekly subscription, with a 7-day free trial.

The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
