## What is Othello Quest?

Othello Quest is one of the largest othello (reversi) servers in the world with lots of beginners as well as world class players.

Even if you are a beginner, you don't need to worry. 
There are very weak bots on the server anyone can beat with ease, so you can start from there and as your ratings improve, you can go on to stronger bots or other human players.

You can also learn othello strategies with the built-in "How to Win at Othello" tutorial that covers everything from basic tips to advanced techniques.

You can also play a non-rated game with your friends.
 
All features are available for free.

改悪がエグくて、まともにプレイできません。
課金してサブスクに入っても練習レートをクリアしないと試合すらさせてもらえない。

クリアして、幾つか試合した
ら規制が入り、更に難しいクエストに挑戦させられる。
その積み重ねで最終的に試合もできない。

ゴミ。金もったいなかった。
アプリ維持のための広告収入を得る為の仕組みだと思うが、サブスク入ってもそれならやれないし、金払う意味ない。
まじで最低な改悪で、こんなゴミ仕様にするの初めてだわ。改悪あってからも良い評価してる人いるので、特定の私だけへの嫌がらせですかね？

とにかくこれが全員に向けてなら、アプリ取る意味ないです。おすすめできません。

私は消しました。

運営ダミーのデータの行き来があるのか
フリーズして
フリーズしていた時間ぶん、自分の持ち時間がぶっ飛ぶ
持ち時間1分が実質、
・最悪で5〜15秒
(数手ですぐフリーズして1分超えて3〜10分以上フリーズしたままになる、当然こちらの時間切れ負けになる)
・よくて30〜40秒くらい
(5〜10秒を越える長いフリーズはなくてもちょいちょい1〜3秒ほど固まる)

時間切れには２通りあり
・実際に自分がモタモタして切らした時間切れ負け
・フリーズしてぶっ飛んだ時間ぶんこちらの持ち時間がぶっ飛んで負ける、不具合による時間切れ負けがある、運営は当然理解してるだろ、作ってる本人や

この２通りの時間切れ負けを
しっかり分けて記録してほしい
ひとつは
・時間切れ負け
もうひとつは
・運営ダミーのデータ読み込みフリーズによるプレイヤーの時間飛ばして逃げのエラー負け
(まあ時間飛ばなくてもソフトには絶対勝てんのやけどな、運が良ければドローになるだけで)

アクティブユーザー数が5〜10万人程度で
対局可能な人間がいつでもいるわけがない
ほとんどが運営のダミー(ソフト)
早い話が人間を装ったソフトと思われる

どのプレーヤーにとっても、今保有する段級位には莫大な時間とエネルギーをかけて勝ち取った思い出が詰まっています。これがライフスタイル変化や戦法変化による不調でなかったことになる。仲間達が次々に降段していくのを見るのはあまりにも悲しい。

今現在の棋力はレートが示していると思います。アプリ内高段者が何かの模範になる使命を担っているわけでもないので、段級位はレートに必ずしも現れない、各プレーヤーの背景やアプリへの貢献度を示すものとして、単調に上がっていくものであるべきだと思います。

長年無料にて遊ばせていただき誠にありがとうございます。
そして、このタイミングでまさかのリニューアルにびっくりです♫
熟考されてのリニューアル、とてもありがたく喜ばしい出来事ではあるのですが…どうしても対戦相手検索中の『木枯らし紋次郎』的イラストと対局中の『思い出がいっぱい』的BGMが馴染めません。
個人的意見としては、出来ればカスタム可能にしていただきたくおもいます。
それから、持ち時間5分としても一手1分に制限して欲しいです。
特にかつてから劣勢状態で対局終盤の残り一、二手で故意に残り持ち時間数秒迄引っ張る悪質な輩が多く存在します。
どうぞご検討よろしくお願いいたします。

今までオセロクエストを数年愛用しておりましたが、アップデート前より悪くなりました。 無課金でここまでさせていただいてるので広告などは全然構わないのですが、色が変わって履歴の勝敗が分かりにくくなり、目もチカチカします。
あとアプデしてから盤の反応も悪くなった。
以前のようにシンプルなオセロクエストが良かったです。
今後改良が無ければ引退する予定です。
