There is an unresolved bug that allows opponents to time out when they’re on the brink of losing and after a while somehow it’s me that’s lost the game. The developers ask the players to send evidence by recording or something similar. Of course that’s not possible given it doesn’t happen often. This isn’t the first time someone’s complained about this exact issue. You need to sort this out! **Developer response:** Hello Wai, we are sorry this happened to you as well. Half the time it doesn’t record the win, or it records a win as a loss. There should also be an audible countdown when your time is almost up. When you’re focused on the board, a silent clock is a real headache. I lost several games I would have otherwise won because the clock timed out while I was planning 2-3 moves ahead. ### 3/5 — Freezes phone *2026-08-23, version 4.13.2* Fun game but it locks up the entire phone, can’t even shut phone down. All updates installed and have even deleted the app and downloaded it again. Too bad, fun game. ### 3/5 — Fun, BUT… *2026-07-31, version 4.13.1* Jesus Christ at the ads!!! Play one game and suffer through at least THREE ads. I love this app but over the last month it has been freezing up regardless of where I am located and if I am on wifi or cellular data. My percentages have gotten skewed as a result of not finishing games. Also, the ads are very annoying. I am moving to a paid app. ### 2/5 — Cluttered With Ads *2026-07-13, version 4.13.0* I’ve been using this app for many years, but I’ve stopped using it because of the nonstop deluge of ads that has made the game unusable. Despite the developers promising to fix the situation with the endless stream of ads, the game is still plagued by them. This includes a long unskippable ad before you’re able to play. Frequently you’ll enter a game that is totally blank.. this has been the case for years. More recently, the game will freeze mid game (often mid animation or a turning tile) and this will render your phone unusable for about 5-10 seconds . Add to that the proliferation of robot opponents when you should be playing other humans and this game can’t score more than two. If they fixed the bugs it would be a four out of five, but given how long these bugs have been around, I wouldn’t hold my breath **Developer response:** Hi agrif, thank you for your detailed feedback. There seems to be some sort of memory leak in the game that even causes my phone to stop responding to touch. I reached out to the developer and they said it was a known issue. I’ve waited for weeks, hoping they would get it fixed. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like it’s getting fixed. It’s very sad. ### 3/5 — Frustrating game issues *2026-06-28* I have had this game for years, probably more than 10 yrs. I have stuck with it through multiple bugs, knowing developers need time and real game play to work through issues. However it is getting beyond frustrating to deal with the crashes that I am convinced are tied to cheaters and sore losers. I have sent videos to support of the weird freezing and such that happens very coincidentally only when and opponent seems likely to lose. My stats have been greatly affected by the intentional crashes experienced. After finally getting more friends and family willing to learn and play I can’t in good conscience recommend a game with these issues that seem to be ignored by developers and the support team. Installed the update and when I started it again it displayed fake warnings about “viruses found” with the usual “click here for details”. Such a shame ### 1/5 — Introduction of Ads *2026-08-06* Used to love playing. Now, the app loads and starts with an Ad. You can play 2-3 games, then you start a game that loads blank, no tiles to turn. This forces you to restart the app so you have to watch another Ad. There’s also instances of your opponent clearly running out of time, but then a tile is still turned 5-10 seconds later. Then those opponents that have clearly lost, but somehow freeze the game - the timer runs out but they aren’t declared as lost and the game just hangs until you restart the app. It’s now a 1 star app for me. **Developer response:** Hi Hodgy17, thank you for your detailed feedback.
