It strikes a perfect balance between ease of use, sound quality, and flexibility/versatility. Coming from the hardware world, I was worried the AUV3 delays for iOS wouldn’t replace my Meris Polymoon, which I loved. I am very pleased with how well this fits the bill. ### 5/5 — Revolutionary *2022-11-18* Audio Damage have always created quality effects apps and I have many of them. Their Enso looper is still something I turn to frequently. ODC is, as expected, amazing. You’re presented with 6 algorithms to get you started. But then you can tweak away to your heart’s content, creating some amazing sounds. But then, if you start side-chaining through AUM feeding one ODC into another, you start to create some very special strangeness and charm. Be careful with this though. Subtlety is definitely the way. Throw any sound at it and it'll create epic paths of unfathomable gorgeousness that unfold before you into infinity. So AUM and various synths and effects on iOS are acceptable when I am away from my studio. Trying to duplicate this app alone in hardware would be costly. Other Desert Cities sounds phenomenal. It provides a diverse range of algorithms that take delay into unchartered territories. It’s capable of everything from the subtle to the obscene (and everything in between)! It’s beautifully designed, with a gorgeous GUI and sounds utterly divine on a range of program material! A powerful creative tool with infinite potential, not to be missed - it’s delicious! ### 5/5 — Evocative and inspiring *2021-10-13* I could hardly believe the expressive possibilities $6 opened up with this app—sending my classical guitar through it. It appears to cover the sonic territory of Crystalline (which was slightly annoying not being AU) and Granulizer along with Apple's Delay Designer (lost when my MacBook died). You won’t regret your purchase for a second! On a less positive note, I’m reading that the dev’s stated reason for the huge price hike is ‘stupid customers leaving poor reviews which in turn make developing for IOS almost not worth the effort.’ This is staggeringly poor customer relations, and has really turned me - a 5 star reviewer - off considering future products. ### 5/5 — Wie eigentlich alles von Audio Damage *2023-03-20* Ist auch Other desert Cities eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.
