## What is OtomoDrive?

OtomoDrive is a voice-first community for people who love to drive—share your solo road time, hands-free, without looking at the screen.

• Voice channels — Join by destination, direction, or mood and chat like a radio while you drive. Listen-only is fine too.
• Drive meetups — Post a meetup with a destination and time; get reminders the day before and 1 hour before. Followers-only meetups supported.
• Spots — Find rest areas, roadside stations, and scenic spots on the map; share photos and reviews; save favorites.
• Timeline / Follow / DM — Post a note, photo, or 10-second clip. Follow people and message 1:1. Choose who can DM you (everyone / followers / no one).
• Safety first — No screen operation while driving; talk hands-free only. Only a coarse location is used—precise location is never shared.
• Peace of mind — Pseudonymous profiles; report and block anytime.

A network connection is required for voice. For safety, operate the app only when stopped.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-09

• Added "Driving with friends." Create a room that only people you send an invite link or QR code to can enter, and stay connected by voice from the meetup to the road.
• Shortened the first-time setup. After signing in there are just two questions, and the screen you picked opens right away.
• Refreshed the official rooms, adding "Stuck in Traffic" and "Long Drive." Official rooms in Korean and English are now available too.
• You can now tell us when you usually drive, so notifications only arrive during those hours.
• Fixed an issue where notifications sometimes did not arrive.
• Reworked the icons and on-screen explanations for a cleaner look.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-30

• Fixed an issue where the microphone stopped responding from the second AI conversation onward. You no longer need to restart the app to keep talking.
• Made the AI's voice easier to hear.
• Spots you have added are now shown as registered.
• Added "Share drive statistics" (optional, off by default). When it is on, the start and end of your drive are replaced by a large grid square before being sent. Your exact location and the route you took are never sent. This helps show which areas people drive in.
• Clarified how your location is used, to match what the app actually does.
