## What is OtoTasdik?

Show to workshop: let the shop scan your car's QR and the job lands in your wallet by itself. Workshops now seal a work order in one tap.

SHOW TO WORKSHOP
• Your car's page has a new "Show to workshop" button. When the shop scans this QR the work order opens on your exact car; once the job is sealed, the record lands in your wallet by itself and you get a notification.
• The QR never carries your VIN; it is a single-use code valid for 5 minutes. When it expires, "Renew" gives you a fresh one.
• A wrong record can still be removed from your wallet, as before.

WORKSHOPS
• A work order now has three states: Open, Sealed, Handed over. "Seal" is one tap and the service slip is ready at once. Inspection-line steps such as queue and quality control are gone from workshop screens.
• "Scan QR" on the dashboard and in the new work order: scan the customer's wallet QR and the vehicle fills itself in.
• The VIN is now required, so the work order opens on the real car. Scan the door sticker, windshield or registration with the camera ("Scan VIN") — real VINs with I, O or Q are accepted.
• Older records that showed a meaningless code in place of a VIN now show the plate and "VIN unknown". Enter the real number with "Add VIN" and the history merges.
• Workshops signing up with Google can finish registering; signing in on an unfinished account takes you to the form. The dashboard refreshes itself after a new work order or a status change.

ENGINE
• Adding a car has a new Motor step; the kW field comes from P.2 on the registration document. Once brand and model are set, engine-type suggestions appear; type your own if it is not listed.

APPEARANCE
• In dark and light mode some button labels and loading spinners could fall into the same colour as their background; all fixed.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.5 — 2026-11-05

Sort your car's photos and pick one as its cover. Workshops can now add opening hours and photos of their premises to their page.

Car wallet
• Sort your car's photos into Exterior, Interior, Accessory and Document, and add a short note to each.
• The photo you make the cover shows across the top of the car's card in Garage. The Album screen shows the car's photos one by one with their notes.
• Add your own photo on the Profile tab. Only you see it; for accounts in Türkiye, you can also let the workshop that scans your QR code see it.

Workshops
• When a customer allows it, their photo appears next to their car when you scan their QR code.
• On the new Shop page screen you can add your opening hours, a directions link and up to six photos of your workshop to your public page, and open the page from the app.

### 1.6.4 — 2026-11-03

Workshops that sign up with Google can now finish their application.

Workshops
• When you sign up with Google, the contact person and vehicles per month you enter now go with your application. Before, they were missing and the application could not go through.
• The financial report says in words how revenue changed against the previous period, such as “12% more than last month”.

Look
• Every icon in the app is now drawn with the same thin line.
• An empty list starts at the top with a short note, instead of a large icon in the middle of the screen.

### 1.6.3 — 2026-11-02

You can now edit and delete the records you added yourself. Records a workshop sealed stay as they are.

Car owners
• Open a service, fuel, consumables or inspection record, or swipe it to the left in a list, to find Edit and Delete. Edit opens the form you used, with everything you entered.
• A record a workshop sealed can't be changed or deleted, and its Service Statement still opens.
• Your changes are kept with the previous values for two years, and so is the last version of a record you delete, with the date of deletion. An edited record shows when you last changed it.

Notifications
• Swipe a notification to the left to delete it, or use Clear all to empty the list. Clear all asks first, and a notification that arrives after you opened the list stays.

### 1.6.2 — 2026-11-01

OtoTasdik now works in the UK, Germany and the US, in pounds, euros or dollars, with each country's number plates and its MOT, HU or state inspection.

Car owners
• In Settings, "Currency" sets the currency of new records; each record you already have keeps its own. A new account suggests the currency of your phone's region.
• A number plate is entered with its "Registration country", and the car's card shows a UK, German or US plate in its own format.
• Records in pounds or dollars show distances in miles and fuel economy in mpg, and you enter the odometer in miles.
• A car with a UK, German or US plate keeps its MOT, HU or state inspection: the test date, the mileage, the valid-until date, the test centre and a photo or PDF of the certificate. For an MOT or an HU the app works out the valid-until date, and you can change it.
• The car's card shows when the inspection runs out, and a reminder comes before it does. The sale link shows the latest test while "Records I added myself" is on; only you see the certificate.
• In an account in pounds, euros or dollars, the fuel receipt scanner reads British, German or US receipts on your phone and fills in the volume, the price and the amount for you to check.
• Accounts in dollars enter fuel in US gallons, with a price per gallon. Fuel prices in pounds, euros and dollars take three decimals, as the pump shows them.
• Spending adds up one currency at a time. Records in another currency are not converted; a line says how many were left out.
• Features made for Türkiye, such as traffic fines, accident reports, the periodic inspection report, ekspertiz, the MTV calculator and the document scan, are hidden for accounts in pounds, euros or dollars. A link to one of them opens "Only available in Türkiye" with a way back to the garage. Records you already have still open.
• A sale link for a car kept in pounds or dollars opens in English, one in euros in German, with the checks people there make before buying.
• For a car from the UK, Germany or the US, the used-car checklist asks whether its MOT, HU or state inspection is valid.
• Swipe a record to the left to reach the actions from its page right in the list.

Repair shops
• Repair shops in the UK, Germany and the US can apply with their own tax number (a VAT or Companies House number, a Steuernummer or USt-IdNr, or an EIN) and their country's documents. OtoTasdik checks these applications by hand.
• Work orders and Service Statements are written in the shop's currency, and a new line starts at 20 % VAT in the UK and 19 % in Germany. The currency is fixed once the shop's first work order exists.
• A US shop sets its combined sales tax rate, to three decimals, under "Sales tax" in Settings, and switches on "Labour is taxable" if its state taxes repair labour.
• A Service Statement in pounds or dollars is written in English, one in euros in German, and it names the tax as the shop's country does: VAT, MwSt. or sales tax.
• In a job's "Photos" section, "Take a photo" shoots several pictures in a row, or you pick them from the gallery. On a weak signal the photos wait and upload once the connection is back.
• Tap a photo to see it full size with the time it was taken; on an open job you can delete it there. When you complete the slip, the photos get pages of their own on the statement.
• The English text was revised throughout, and the Financial report shows its months in English.

Your account
• Deleting your account now also deletes the files and photos you uploaded and the push tokens of your devices, and it revokes every sale link. The car's records stay with its VIN, without your name.
• Photos you upload are now stored without their location data.
• You can turn crash reports on or off in the app's settings. In pound and euro accounts they are off until you turn them on.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-24

OtoTasdik moves to a new design, with every screen redone for car owners and for repair shops.

CAR OWNERS
• On "My garage", the car's card shows the plate with the odometer, the last service and the inspection date. "Show QR to the shop" and "Share sale link" sit on the card too.
• A record from a workshop now opens like a paper statement: the shop, the technician and the document number, the work done with its prices and the total including VAT. At the foot it says "Sealed by the shop", and "Signature details" shows the signature.
• "Timeline" and "Records" also show what each record cost.
• Text and colours are easier to read in the light and the dark theme.

REPAIR SHOPS
• The new "Today" screen holds the card for scanning the customer's QR to open a job, and the "On the bench" list. A car that is waiting for parts can be marked "Waiting for parts".
• You can add the technician's name to a job; it shows on the Service Statement.
• Work orders, customers and the statement have the new design as well.
