## What is Otter Freedive Apnea Trainer?

Rain your breath hold the calm, safe way, with an otter as your dive buddy.

Otter Freedive Apnea turns freediving practice into a guided ocean adventure. Measure your comfort baseline, train with CO₂ and O₂ tables built around it, and learn the fundamentals in short lessons, all on dry land and at your own pace. Whether you are a beginner, an experienced freediver, a spearfisher or a scuba diver, you always know what to practice today.

KEY FEATURES

• Adventure Path — Four ocean chapters, from Shallow Start to Return from the Abyss. Short lessons on relaxed breathing, the dive reflex, diaphragm contractions and focus, with a safety guide in every chapter.
• Personalized CO₂ & O₂ Tables — Take the comfort baseline test and your tables adapt to it. Shrinking rests build CO₂ tolerance; longer holds build adaptation to low oxygen.
• Guided, Safer Sessions — Safety check, settling breaths, final breath, hold, then recovery breathing and an effort rating. Log contractions or end any hold early with a tap.
• Progress You Can See — Best hold, session history, monthly calendar and yearly heatmap, plus XP, levels and achievements.
• Daily Quests & Streaks — Daily goals, quests, weekly challenges and Streak Freezes. Spend shells on outfits for your otter in the Otter Shop.
• Widgets, Live Activities & Dynamic Island — Follow your streak and your session from the Home Screen and Lock Screen.
• Relaxation Breathing & Reminders — Guided breathing practice and gentle daily reminders to build the habit.

SAFETY FIRST

Breath-hold training carries a risk of blackout. Practice only on dry land, sitting or lying down in a safe place. Never hold your breath in water, in a bath or while driving, avoid hyperventilation, and stop right away if you feel dizzy or unwell. This app is a training aid, not a medical device, and does not replace a qualified freediving instructor.
