## What is Ottie's Trail?

The world only lights up where you've actually been.

Open Ottie's Trail and the whole map sits under a sea of fog. The moment you set out — on foot, by bike, by car, by boat — the sea pulls back with every step, revealing the land you've truly walked. Each tile is about 25 meters across, and every one of them is a memory you uncovered yourself. A cute little otter stands right where you are and follows you as you explore the world, one tile at a time.

■ Your photos, scattered across the map
Import your geotagged photos and they scatter across the map as pins — every photo a memory pinned to the exact spot where you took it. Open the map later and it becomes a living memory map of everywhere you've been. Mark a photo as a favourite or delete it, always in sync with your iOS Photos library.

■ Privacy is the whole point
No social feed. No tracking. Your location is never uploaded. Your footprints stay on your device, or sync only to YOUR own iCloud — a private space shared with no one. The developer collects nothing (App Privacy: Data Not Collected).

New: a step counter, right on the home map.

- A pill in the top-left corner: a progress ring and today's steps, with the walking otter inside it
- Tap it for the full panel: today's ring, a daily goal (3,000 / 5,000 / 8,000 / 10,000), lifetime steps, your best day, and a 7-day chart
- Hit your goal and Ottie cheers you on from inside the ring
- Four new achievement postcards: First Steps, Stroller, Million Steps, 10K Day
- Only real strides count. Driving and flying don't, and the counter tucks itself away
- Steps come from your iPhone's motion sensor and stay on your phone. Nothing is uploaded
