En tantos años nunca había visto este juego, pero ahora que lo encontré me llamó la atención y la verdad no me arrepiento de haberlo comprado; está entretenido y para los años que tiene, es increíble el tamaño y complejidad de los mapas. No le doy 5 estrellas debido a que la mecánica del juego es bastante repetitiva, pero por lo demás no está nada mal, aparte de que es compatible con el control de Xbox, lo cual hace más fácil todo, ya que los controles táctiles no son tan precisos.

I loved playing this game as a little kid and I’ve even looked into Power Mac emulation in an effort to somehow play it again.  So I was floored when I saw that this game was in the iOS store and had controller support. It seems like this game is rendered at native resolution or something very sharp on my 2020 iPad Pro, and it also appears that the game targets 60 fps and often hits that, but it’s hard to tell.
However, playing this again has made me realize that there were some glaring omissions in the gameplay. The biggest one is by far the complete lack of any camera control. The right joystick does nothing, but how I wish it did! At one point, I was fighting this giant machine boss thing, and I had to just shoot at the general direction of where it might be because the camera was turned away from it and there was no way to fix that. The other issues are smaller, like the way that there are many invisible barriers that your gun can’t shoot through (like by item boxes), but enemies can shoot through those same barriers and hit you, making for some frustrating gameplay. I could go on, but really, if the camera were fixed, this game would hold up far better against today’s 3D games. All that being said, I have deep respect for the developer keeping his games playable on these newer platforms so that they can live on in a playable state. Thanks!

I used to play this game with IMac in my childhood so I am very pleased to enjoy it again! But I found there is a fatal bug in terms of humans who are supposed to be rescued. When I touch checkpoint antenna and swipe the screen up to finish game temporarily, come back again, restart from the checkpoint, humans behind us reappear somehow who have already been captured. These humans are limited only to walking people. With this it would allow us to get infinite score, which should be problem. I would appreciate if you fixed this ASAP! Best regard from Japan

i grew up playing pangea games on my elementary school computers, so when I saw they had been ported to mobile I was super excited. Otto Matic’s mobile controls are pretty OK, the weapon swap works fine and the button size/placement works well. unfortunately there is no “turn around” command which is pretty irritating on mobile given the way you move is already hard. reorienting yourself can be annoying, which could be solved with an additional d-pad for camera view or adding a double tap on the movement dpad for quick turnaround. already gave up level two because of the river ride magnet glitching lol. yet to find out if there’s a level skip to quickly catch up to where you were or play a favorite level as there was on desktop. but despite that ill probably still play because its a classic to me. it’s just not the best—be aware of that if you’re looking for the same feel as OG on old Mac computers.

I remember playing this when it first came out on Mac.  The iPad version is just as fun with the exception that there is no saving your progress.  I’d give it more stars if you could start from your last check point in the game.

I love this game. I used to play it on the computer at my grandparents house when I was little and I loved it sooooo much. Then one day( many years later) I found it on the iOS App Store and I got it straight away. I love this game and have completed it 4 times. Thanks so much.

Difficult to control movements.  Game does not save but resets to beginning.  I used to play the older computer versions but have never finished because of the games on/off again relationship with Apple.  And yet again on my ipad I am thwarted since the game does not save.  I guess I give up and will delete.

I used to play this as a kid, it was much more enjoyable when you are able to use the keyboard as game controller. The IPad version using on screen controller and is extremely erratic. It makes the game incredibly frustrating.

I have to agree with rich. If you close the game you have to start all the way back to the beginning of the game.  Also I would like to see a 360 degree control pad.  The up/down left/right pad has horrible controls. Also you should be able to move the controller to either left or right side of the screen as a minimum. If they don't change at least these problems I also will delete the game.  I would have given this game a lot better rating if it wasn't because of these problems.

The last update ruined the game, you can no longer adjust where the buttons are positioned, restarting the game takes you back to where you ended it instead of restarting it, you have to kill off all your lives to go back to the start,that's silly. many more bugs where also introduced. At the beginning is a worthless menu to select worlds to visit, instead of the tried and true advancing from world to world.
The programmers have just ruined this classic, I have now stopped playing it and will delete it soon!

Wie schon bei anderen Apps dieses Label ist das Spiel kaum zu spielen. So eine schlechte Steuerung, kaum kalibrierbar. Somit echt frustran, Otto zu steuern sehr schwierig. Im 2.level muss er "Wasserski-fahren", dabei den Kristallen ausweichen, wenn möglich noch Punkte sammeln unterwegs. Dann abspringen im rechten Moment.... Also wirklich... Eine Katastrophe. 
Bleibt der zweite und letzte Versuch ein Spiel dieses Labels zu spielen. Egal ob grashüpfer oder Otto den Rboter... Wegen der sauschlechten Steuerung machen die eigentlich hübsch gemachten Spiele großen Frust und mir nach zig Versuchen einfach keinen Spaß mehr.
Da gibt es viel Besseres😈

As a passionate lover of 3d platformers, I can assure you that this game is absolutely awful.  The controls are sloppy, the adventure feels nonexistent and the story is just bland.  Do not make the same Horrible mistake I did by wasting 4 dollars on this horrible app.

Après avoir terminé le jeu il y a 10ans je me sentais obliger de le refaire aujourd’hui. 
Toujours aussi génial , le jeu est parfait , l’univers est juste incroyable avec des personnages variés. Que dire de plus à part acheter ce jeu

最後the end?となってたので続編があればそちらも是非やりたい
