Reliability update for offline work.

- Inspections you complete offline now upload dependably once you are back in signal. Completed work that was previously held on the device is recovered automatically during the next sync.
- If the app closes while the camera is open, you can return to the task you were working on. Your saved answers are kept.
- Stability improvements to background sync.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-08-18

This update fixes a problem introduced by version 2.0.0, where work completed before updating could get stuck on your device: finished inspections could stop uploading, and tasks started offline could disappear from your pending list. Nothing was lost. After this update, the app automatically finds that work and uploads it on the next sync. There is no need to redo anything. If a task still shows as not synced after a few minutes online, contact your administrator.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-14

Field 2.0 is the sync release — the biggest change yet to how your work gets from the field to the office.

Sync that takes care of itself
• Your work now uploads automatically in the background, even with the app closed, whenever iOS allows it. (Keep Background App Refresh enabled for best results.)
• If sync needs you — something can't upload, or the app needs to be opened — you get a notification instead of silence.
• While you work, the app syncs periodically on its own and shows clearly when work is still waiting, instead of letting it sit silently.

Sync you can trust
• The status you see is the truth: no green "all synced" while anything is still waiting.
• Uploads retry safely — a retried upload can never create a duplicate.
• If an item repeatedly can't sync, it is set aside for review — never silently discarded.

Also in this release
• A skipped optional Check no longer blocks its section — the section completes and the task can be submitted right away.
• Recording a date (such as a meter calibration date): type it directly (YYYY-MM-DD) or use the calendar. The step now clearly shows "Not recorded yet" until a date is actually saved — dismissing the calendar without confirming no longer looks like a saved date, and clearing a date no longer quietly records today.

Version 1.9.6

This update fixes three issues to make everyday task work smoother and more reliable:

• The on-screen keyboard now closes properly when you move between screens, so it no longer stays open and covers content.
• Location and target detail cards now show their information reliably after the map refreshes, instead of occasionally appearing blank.
• Photo and file evidence added to a task on another device now downloads and uploads correctly, so completed tasks keep all of their attachments.
