The temperature device works well enough, but setting up the app & attempting to connect and monitor my data is a nightmare and I am NOT a luddite!

I bought this at CVS. it was the only one on the self, so not a lot of choices. The temperature on the device is never the same two, three, four times in a row and vary by as many at 15 degrees. The app is bad enough. The device is worse.

This apps usually which but this one is worse than most. The instructions tell you to install the app, take a temp measurement, press the NFC logo, and finally hold the device near the phone, and then the temp reading should be shown on the phone. 
When I follow these instructions the app crashes as soon as the phone comes near the thermometer. What can I say except for BOOH?

As I said I had low expectations since China-made stuff like this rarely work as expected, especially when it comes to app integration. But it was the only temple-reading thermometer on the shelf in my little pharmacy and I needed one instantly for my daughter. It wasn’t even cheap! 

Stay away from OU Care or the “Legend” brand. Just order something from a trusted brand, it will be cheaper and it can’t be worse than this company.

I can’t get it to work. I got a reading one time but that’s it.  I uninstalled and reinstalled it on iphone and android phone. If it actually works then this is needing better instruction or explanation of what the tabs are.  It’s useless if you read in English. It’s a waste of money.  It doesn’t work

Instruction are non existing- totally unclear. Never could get any info to transfer to my IPhone. Cannot use connector provided since not compatible with newer iPhones. Needs to use blue tooth, but no clear instruction on how to get it to pair and iPhone cannot find it when looking for new devices. 
Luckily it is free, just uses up storage space. Deleted immediately

I wasn’t expecting it to work on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, the app runs but it cannot read anything.

However their web site claims it works in a 5S, the app would NOT launch on mine, just crashed EVERYTIME.

I’d say it might be okay just as a temperature device but skip the whole phone integration idea. Plus the instructions are terrible.

Wow this app doesn’t work at all with the CVS Ear Digital Thermometer. When you press the button and bring the thermo close to the phone it will beep and act as if it has successfully scanned the data. But it will show the temperature as “L”. That’s it, just “L”. 

When you try to show the data it does not show anything. 

The functionality is really limited anyway, all it is supposed to do is record the data and show it to you. Save yourself some time and just use pencil and paper.

The app is totally useless. No instructions, not a single written words. It’s like an ikea manual from the bizarro world where nothing makes sense and you’ve got a lot of buttons. So much for the Bluetooth function.

This does not work with the digital thermometer. Thermometer connected directly to iPhone with adapter.

I use this for BBT and it only reads the last taken temp. The BBT thermometer from CVS is not that accurate when compared to my glass thermometer. The app scans the thermometer and charts the last temp taken even if it’s turned off. It would be much better if we could take multiple temps without having to scan each time. You can send recorded temps to your phone or email.
