Things were going well but I felt was sorta flying blind; my version was so old that they hadn’t yet developed the Recommended Learning Path. Ouino allowed an upgrade to the current version! Now I’m steadily getting it (I do get bogged down in those crazy modifiers for tenses and Conditionals, but it’s all part of the process). I love this program, and the app syncs to the desktop perfectly. ### 5/5 — Brilliant! *2020-09-01, version 3.1.6* Terrific app at a bargain price. My go to app alongside memrise. And I found out that this is a family owned business, and I have been so impressed with their super fast response to any questions! I think it is the most comprehensive language course available. Buy it now before they figure out how good they are and raise the price! I've been working on two very popular programs and they just aren't working for me. I think they are good and their creators have put a lot of work into them, but Ouino has nailed it. The first is a good program but I just get so tremendously bored with it. Same format day after day. The other I liked but is way too repetitive in their exercises. I get the point of repetition but I think they went overboard with it. And again, same format day after day. The high price just didn't seem worth what I was getting, comparatively speaking. We all learn differently and “one size fits all” just isn't good. Ouino gives you both structure and flexibility. Ouino is fun and you will learn! I love how you can choose what you want to focus on that day. This program is just slam pack full of learning tools. I follow the "Recommended Learning Path" and really like how it is unfolding the language in a structured and logical way. But some days you want to focus on something that you may currently either be struggling with or are just curious about, and Ouino lets you do that. I love the verb conjugation section. Also the “building blocks” section is awesome. This is where you learn more on grammar, connection words, pronouns, verb tenses, possessive, demonstrative, etc. Those things are the heart of a language. These are the words that help you to truly communicate and connect and not just get by in a taxi, though that's important too. When you finish these lessons and exercises, you really feel like you've accomplished something and are moving closer to your goal of learning a new language. I highly recommend Ouino. It's not just the best bang for the buck, it's the best bang! ### 5/5 — Superb *2020-04-07, version 3.1.4* I have been learning Spanish for the past year and have made good progress. I now live in a Spanish speaking country and so needed to learn in a way that would address my specific day to day needs. This program has exceeded all of my needs. This is a comprehensive course that will take you from beginner to fluent. As an intermediate speaker I have still found this program’s content comprehensive enough to teach me many things. This program is excellent because the study areas are succinct yet detailed. It covers every possible topic you could want to study. It breaks down the learning into 5 clear study areas which are packed with learning content. This program is also exemplary because unlike other programs it covers, reading, writing, speaking and listening as well as pronunciation. As an experienced educator it is clear to see that this program has been well thought out. Another unique aspect of the program is that you can choose your own learning path; it is so useful to be able to learn what you feel like learning or content that will help to prepare you for something specific. The quality of the program is excellent, with high quality graphics and the navigation is so user friendly. Customer service is excellent and I have always received prompt and helpful responses from the friendly people at Ouino. I can’t say enough about this wonderful product. If you are serious about learning a language or are on the fence I would 100% recommend this program. ### 5/5 — AMAZING LEARNING EXPERIENCE *2020-02-17, version 3.1.4* I have purchased OUINO Spanish in mid January 2020. It has only been a little over a month now and already I feel I have learn more Spanish in this month then in the last 3 years trying with various other tools. Great service center – very quickly I have had all the answers that I sought. In the present rate of learning, I believe that I will reach my goals faster than expected. I’m going to Cuba at the end of March 2020. Once I get back, I will let you know how my Spanish worked out – I feel positive about it. ¡Adiós a todos! Hasta mi vuelvo. ### 5/5 — Excellent interactive Spanish learning app *2019-12-19, version 3.1.2* I recently got serious about improving my Spanish. Ouino was an amazing find because it doesn’t just teach the read and translation method of language learning. It is set up for learners who want to speak and improve conversationally. The type of Spanish is not Spain Spanish but Latin American Spanish. It’s hard to find a program that doesn’t teach Spain Spanish. Ouino allows you to design your own learning pathway or follow through the material in a recommended order. Lessons have mastery activities that are interactive and incorporate listening, speaking, and reading skills. There is so much content and you can go back to any lesson multiple times. It feels like a game and is extremely interactive and fun! You forget to be frustrated and instead are excited for the next activity to build on what you learned. It is worth every penny and some considering the lifetime access that is constantly being updated! In addition to the lessons, learners can read stories, choose listening activities, and practice conversation with the extra material sections and I have been using Ouino for several months and still haven’t explored everything there is to do! It really is the clutchest app for language learning I have ever come across. I really found that after using Ouino I was more able to understand, speak, and talk immediately in a way that motivates me to want to continue to learn Spanish and keep using Ouino. ### 5/5 — Customer Support is Outstanding *2019-10-30, version 3.1.2* I really appreciate their customer support and chat feature especially on the website. I had a question about the 3.99 when used for 2 years on the pricing page and someone from Ouino immediatley chatted back. Not even 5 minutes past and I have had a simple but detailed explanation! Highly recommend! ### 5/5 — Amazing program! *2019-08-30, version 3.1.1* Like many, I enjoyed (?) high school Spanish and have dabbled throughout 4 decades to enhance my working knowledge. Our proximity to this lovely country and more frequent visits has heightened my desire to know more. After struggling with the myriad of available programs, I came across OUINO and haven’t looked back. Wonderfully comprehensive, the user can craft their own learning tract or, like me, use the suggested pathways. The modules are thoughtfully designed and use a variety of teaching techniques (at this age, I need them all!) to drive home the topic. Then, there are assessment tests and the ability to record your progress. The graphics are wonderful and the phonetics are clear and concise. My bride, who is far more fluent, uses the advanced features to hone her abilities. Clearly, a program for all levels—and ages, it seems. When I had questions about the download, I left a text message and was called back on the same day (ON A HOLIDAY), where a very pleasant man walked me through my issues. In the few months I’ve been using it, I find a much greater grasp of those pesky verbs—it’s very easy to go back and review information as needed. We couldn’t be more pleased with this program! ### 5/5 — The best, and I tried them all *2019-01-16, version 3.0.6* I own Rosetta Stone, and I’ve had 2 years of adult conversational Spanish. I cannot say enough good things about this app, especially after the 2018 major update. Follow the Building Blocks and Recommended Learning Path, and you’ll get a solid foundation in how Spanish is spoken. This isn’t just a “bargain” program - it’s an extremely well designed learning platform that just keeps improving. Kudos. ### 5/5 — Amazing app! *2018-11-15, version 3.0.1* I have tried apps like Babbel, Memrise and others similar to those. I have to say that Ouino is by far the best one. They make it extremely easy to learn a new language. If you study languages at school I completely recommend it. I got an A* in Italian and French for my GCSEs which I accredit to this program. They make learning languages a game as they make it so easy. There is no overload of information, the lessons are clear and concise. I have taken up Spanish just for myself now which is something I never imagined myself doing. I also love the fact that you buy the program for life for a very reasonable price. Please fix soon ### 4/5 — Great stuff but time to update *2018-05-12, version 2.1.3* This is the best Spanish learning tool I have found. Paying for one account does allow you to share it with two other family members which makes the price a little better. Within 3 months I will have finished all the modules and so I’m looking forward to some updated material soon. Once in a while the audio comes out choppy but that could be a problem with my device. Other reviewers probably told you what it has going for it so I’ll tell you what it’s missing: the Subjunctive tense is completely ignored. The auxiliary verb functions of “haber” are also ignored. Both of these are HUGE for advanced or intermediate students. Other than that, I’m 100% sold on this software. Ouino, I believe is the most well rounded language learning system available currently. I did a lot of due diligence this time around and found I was not alone in my conclusion. I live in a Spanish speaking country and desperately need to learn Spanish to a professional level. My social circle includes many professionals with whom I need to interact with on an on going basis. Now it’s up to me to diligently use the tool and learn. Using the message feature on their web site I told them this and asked for a refund and in only 5 minutes I had a PayPal message that they had refunded my money. Do I need to say more? It’s a very user friendly app. I like the way they explain the grammar rules; they keep it short and to the point. The explanation are followed up by good examples, and even the pictures seem to be carefully selected.
