To be able to fall asleep in his own bed happily with his imagination thriving is not something I would have imagined a few months ago. Bedtimes had previously been a circle of just one more story, lay with me, dont go, I need you etc etc He would get upset and I would lose my patience but now its all changed. Now we read a book as normal, then we input the info for our story or he thinks of something random he wants to create. It generates, he looks at the picture & then his star light speaker reads the story to him in my voice. I go downstairs and voila, a few minutes later he is fast asleep. He still feels the attachment & has the chance to process what he needs to through the personalised storys & my voice but without the dependance on me physically & that is a huge relief especially when his little sister needs me or I just generally need to win back that time.
