### 3/5 — Languages

*2026-08-26, version 7.23.0*

It is marketed as being translated into other languages, but 100% of the features are available only in English; usage in other languages doesn't even reach 30%.

### 2/5 — Incessant notifications

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

Enough with the in app notifications to refer a friend and do a health panel!! I have the recommendation notifications turned off yet still receive these notifications daily. Infuriating!

### 2/5 — Promesses but doesn’t deliver

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

It advertises itself as a tracker. Its insights about sleep and recovery are constantly wrong. They give you a month to return but it takes a month for the device to have an idea of your baselines. So basically it is impossible to return since you need those 30 days to see if it works.

### 4/5 — Ring position

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

If the ring is supposed to be positioned so the small white band is near the palm why make the band white which makes it very hard to see on the silver ring. You have to have very good light to find it as it's difficult to find on the silver ring.

Also, This morning there was an update too the app and it stalled for several minutes. So long in fact that I restarted the phone and it still took quite a long time to finish updating.

### 4/5 — Love it … 2 suggestions I would love (Selfish)

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

I do really love how the ring is developing a good knowledge of me and so comfortable.. I’m slowly realising this is for health not necessarily weight loss focused which I do like. Could we have a tab to log fluids though.. as a shift worker when I’m nights I often forget to drink and it would be good to be able too. Leading into next request actually … according to Office of National statistics 20-25% of the Genpop are shift workers and even though it asks you on set up there is no way to log night work (or have I missed something) but I think it could be such good info to link nights to circadian rhythms and things like liver function and analysis of post nights sleep and activity behaviour - love all shift workers but do it for the nurses 🙏🏽

### 3/5 — Can’t find where I measure my current heart rate

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

Can’t easily find items I would like to see. Ex. Where to measure my heart rate right now.

### 3/5 — Access limited during live activity

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

Want to access the app whilst in middle of a live activity - pls update this!!

### 4/5 — It’s not letting me update app

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

It keeps prompting me to update the app and I have been trying to update the app for the last 5 days and it just won’t update. Why is that happening?

### 2/5 — I expected more from the price tag

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

The ring does not differ from any of the cheap wrist watches in fact it is terrible in counting and calculating activity and steps. Apart from the aesthetics I would not buy it again. Disappointing

### 5/5 — Love

*2026-08-22, version 7.22.2*

Love how it works!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-08-22, version 7.22.2*

Oura has been excellent! Nothing to complain about!

### 5/5 — Health focus

*2026-08-22, version 7.22.2*

It’s helping me to be interested in my sleep, my activity, so each day the goal is to beat myself!

### 3/5 — A feedback

*2026-08-22, version 7.22.2*

The iOS app’s touch controls are too sensitive. I keep accidentally opening features I don’t mean to tap.

### 2/5 — Ring good

*2026-08-21, version 7.22.2*

The actually ring is good but if you need help. The customer service is BAD

### 5/5 — Fantastic!!!

*2026-08-21*

❤️

**Developer response:** Thank you for the love! We’re so glad you’re enjoying Oura and truly appreciate your support.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Randomly thinks I’m doing yoga all the time

*2026-08-26, version 7.23.0*

In the last week here the app is suggesting an activity when I didn’t do any and thinks I did yoga. This is new. Just giving 1 star to get dev attention. Will modify review once that’s fixed, otherwise all is good.

### 1/5 — First week of use, not worth the $$$

*2026-08-26, version 7.23.0*

This is an expensive hardware with a required subscription. I’m coming to the conclusion it’s not worth the $$$ after a week of use for the data it provides.
1. You cannot zoom in into the heart rate data. The graphs space out between a 2 - 6 hr breakdown, that is as close as you can see it. The Learn More option under each graph is solely to “teach you what that metric means”, it’s not further data breakdown.
2. You cannot connect to Peloton or OrangeTheory apps, the data those apps feed Apple Heath is what Oura pulls. It’s not the exact data and it does not pull your heart rate zones. The Contributors breakdown under Activity is extremely misleading, you click on it expecting to see data breakdown and surprise, more teaching text, no data.
3. You cannot zoom in into the sleep data. You can only edit time in bed/out of bed once. Similar to 1 and 2 above, no zooming in, lots of “teaching text” where data should be.
4. There’s no clear user friendly way to log medical conditions. Their AI customer service (THE worst) gives you wrong instructions and you’re left with nowhere to add what you want. You can add tags, which don’t seem to make any difference into the app use of the data it collected and is more for you to know what you did different that day.
5. Readiness score - it honestly feels like gaslighting. It tells you the app knows whether you’re ready for your day or not. Not you, not your knowing of how your own body feels and how you feel ready for the day when you wake up.
6. Even with notifications turned on, the app does not send you notifications. The only time you’ll see a notification is when you open the app, it updates and surprise again, there’s a notification you should have received 2 hours ago.
7. In some screens they use a (i) for the teaching text, there should be more data breakdown and zoom available and every teaching text displayed in the same consistent manner under the (i) information section.
8. After several dead end tentatives to reach a human and not being allowed by AI, I will NOT try customer service again to solve any of the issues I’ve encountered.
Some other features are still “calibrating” since it’s my first week using the ring and it needs to collect data. I’m not holding my breath there will be anything worth writing home about when those features are available. Again, not worth the $$$ for what it provides.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

You would think the cost of this device with the needed subscription would mean it would work properly. But unfortunately, when you get up in the night and then go back to sleep half the time does not to sleep afterwards. This is clearly a problem that anybody could see with a quick Reddit search.

### 1/5 — Do NOT use Flexpa or Health Panels

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

The Flexpa and Health Panels service is a complete scam. Provided my extremely sensitive medical data through the app and the Flexpa service only for Oura to not know what happened a because after more than their stipulated 10 business days it still shows as “processing data”. The Oura reps are an embarrassment that have no idea what to do, even after a $69 membership. Who knows who has my data now and can see all of my medical history. Joke is on me I guess. What a bad look Oura. You are not holding up on your end of the deal and mismanaging sensitive data.

### 1/5 — Over priced for generic metrics

*2026-08-24, version 7.22.2*

The least you can expect if paying for a non worth jewellery that gets your health data and on top you get charged for “use monthly” is to hv a personal used set of data and metrics based on your particular system. However, this offers generic data base on general mathematical models unable to be able to fully tracked or customised for your particular case. Would be happy if could get my money back 🙏🏽

### 1/5 — Oversized ring and oversized subscription—Not Worth It.

*2026-08-21, version 7.22.2*

Not only is the ring not worth the money, but the subscription is practically mandatory. My $70/year subscription just expired, and without it, my Oura Ring tells me almost nothing.

I can see three overall scores—Readiness, Sleep, and Activity—and that’s basically it. I can’t see the detailed breakdowns behind those scores, my sleep and wake times, my activities, stress information, or most of the other data the ring collects. I’m essentially looking at three numbers on a screen.

I honestly don’t understand why I paid nearly $500 for a device that becomes this limited unless I continue paying another $70 every single year. If I had known how useless the ring would feel without the subscription, I would never have purchased it.

For a device this expensive, the basic health and activity data should remain accessible without an ongoing membership. The subscription model is absolutely appalling.

Honestly, I rarely opened the App when I had it because it was just a bunch of useless, seemingly inaccurate information. The only accurate information was my menstrual cycle, but I had to input that myself.

### 1/5 — Drain

*2026-08-21, version 7.22.2*

Every time there’s an app update ring starts acting up. It’s like they are trying to force to buy the new ring when the old one works fine.

### 1/5 — Terrible customer service

*2026-08-20, version 7.22.2*

I pay for this app and it doesn’t work. I used to love ordering now. I think it sucks. I will tell everybody I know I wished I never bought an order ring and I will be looking for a different way to monitor my stats.

### 1/5 — Requires Constant Input = LAME

*2026-08-20, version 7.22.2*

Not only is the ceramic easily scraped-up, the app requires constant inputs on your phone and your phone being present for exercise tracking. It’s a pain to start/stop activities on the phone.

### 1/5 — Not impressed with subscription based products

*2026-08-20, version 7.22.2*

Didn’t realize I needed an expensive subscription to benefit from the expensive hardware. The non subscription setting is so basic that it is not worth buying the ring. My ring had to be replaced within the first year due to hardware failure. My wife’s first and second ring failed on her. Now she is applying for a 3rd under warranty. It’s good if you don’t mind the expense and like interpreting the data.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Health

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

I love my Oura it helps me stay on track!

### 5/5 — Need Sleep?

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

I’m always tired AND I sleep with a CPAP machine. Once I got the OURA ring, I understood why. I wasn’t really sleeping OR getting the right amount of sleep. The ring shows the types is sleep required (Deep, REM, etc.) by the body. It even shows my deficit; which I’m working on. Get you an OURA ring and get some sleep 💤

### 5/5 — This has changed my life

*2026-08-25, version 7.23.0*

Thanks to the Oura ring. I realize how much I push myself when I’m absolutely exhausted when I don’t sleep well. I take the breaks that are suggested which allows me to sleep better that night!

### 5/5 — Best Smart Ring Yet

*2026-08-25, version 7.22.2*

Edit - 8/25 Thank you, Oura team for reaching out and letting me know that Oura will continue to evolve the BP analytics to incorporate age variables. It is much appreciated!

Edit - 8/24/2026
Still love the ring but have a recommendation for the blood pressure readings. The app sticks to rigid platform but for us seniors, it would be better if you used our actual age. My 123/70 BP is great for someone in the 70s. Please make it more useful for all age groups- thanks.

I have used several smart rings and every version of the Oura. They are the best on the market and continually improving it. I wear it every day and many people think it is jewelry.

Quick question for the Version 4 users. After the recent firmware update, has anyone else had an issue with the battery not holding as well? I’d gotten spoiled with the multiple day battery but am now have very little battery left after 24 hours.

### 5/5 — Love this product

*2026-08-24, version 7.22.2*

An easy way to keep you healthy

### 5/5 — Good so far

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

It’s only been a few months, but so far it seems to be keeping me well informed in regard to my overall health status & sleep patterns.
It seems to work similar to my wife’s Apple Watch 10 as far as the data is concerned. I didn’t want to spend $500-$1000 on a smart watch so I opted to spend the $100 per year and I bought a Oura Ring version 3 on the used Market for 100 bucks.
The battery lasts about 3 days which is nice and I only take it off to charge while I shower for 30 minutes, then I leave it on, even in the shower or pool, etc.
To my knowledge the only other Smart Ring that can compete with this one is the Samsung one, but it only works with Samsung Galaxy Gear. The App for this Oura Ring works with all Smartphones.

### 5/5 — Oura is Great

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

I’m really enjoying using Oura. It’s a great product and app!

### 5/5 — JC Garner

*2026-08-23, version 7.22.2*

I was gifted the Oura ring 5 by my family. I was a bit skeptical of it and what it can do which my Apple Watch Ultra 3 can’t do. It does some of the same things but it does track a few different things. I enjoy the BP alert although it is misleading as it doesn’t actually detect blood pressure it just looks at indicators.

Some of the other features are nice such as looking at how your age compares to your real age. It shows a lot of stuff but be careful how you use it. It links to my Apple Watch wry nicely and my iPhone.

I love the fact that days between chargers. I get 4 to 5 day.

### 5/5 — Favorite gadget by a long stretch

*2026-08-22, version 7.22.2*

I have had a life long issue with managing my sleep. Oura has been a great regular reminder to work better on it. I like the calorie goals, and it tips me off when I’m fighting a bug, helps me improve my late night bad snacking habits. Love it!
