## What is OurFamilyHub?

OurFamilyHub turns everyday routines into something visible, playful and rewarding - the fridge-door star chart, reinvented for the iPad your kids already have.

How it works:
- Kids earn stars for routines and tasks. Parents run everything from their own phone and approve what the kids report.
- Fill the star board once and the prize is claimed - then a new board begins, so the same joy can be won again and again.
- Medals and streaks: each child builds a growing medal collection for completed rounds, plus a flame that counts days in a row.
- Morning round: a shared check-in that makes mornings calmer - who woke up, who is dressed.
- Age-aware setup: goals, tasks and reward ideas are suggested from each child's age, and you can change everything freely.

- Widgets and StandBy: see stars, today's plan and pending approvals at a glance. Add a widget to your Home or Lock Screen, or turn your phone into a little family board.
- Choose a colour for each child, or let the app suggest one.
- People and devices: see and manage who has access to your family, both parents and the kids' own phones.
- Tidier parent menu with more logical grouping.
- Better on iPad: up to four children fit without scrolling, and routine cards show their steps in two columns.
- The morning round now shows between 6 and 10 am (or keep it always on).
- Calmer always-on screen: the iPad dims when no one is using it and wakes on a tap.
- The app is now fully available in English.

- Child Device: Older kids can use their own phone. Link it with a code from a parent, and the child gets their own overview of stars, rewards, routines and tasks - without seeing the other children's data.
- The child can suggest their own tasks from the phone. The parent approves, and the suggestion becomes a one-off task assigned to the child.
- Notifications to the child when a star or reward is approved, and when a payout is completed.
- Reminders to the child before tasks with a deadline.
- The morning routine has been refreshed with a slot machine where prizes are shared by the whole family.
- Tap a notification to jump straight to the right place in the app.
- Improved manual flow for cashing out stars to money.
- Various margin and layout improvements on phone.

This update is about rewards that matter, and the small everyday conversations.

New in this version:

Cash out – turn stars into real money
Kids can cash in saved stars for real pocket money via Vipps, Venmo or PayPal. You open your payment app pre-filled and confirm yourself. The app never moves money on its own, and stars are deducted only when you confirm.

Question of the Day – one small conversation a day
Each child gets one age-based question a day: a conversation starter at dinner, in the car or at bedtime. No points, no right answer, nothing stored.

Now in English
The whole app is translated and adapts language, time format and currency to your device.

Weather and sun
The weather banner now shows the UV index and gives sunscreen tips for the day, with a smart reminder to apply before drop-off.

Routine reminders
Set a time and a friendly reminder on each step of a routine.

We have also improved push notifications, tidied up text and fixed bugs for a smoother experience.
