### 5/5 — SPLINE TIME!

*2025-05-22, version 1.0.4*

This game is phenomenal. Incredible job by a solo developer. Chill vibes for an easy play with surprising depth. The level designs add complexity and new mechanics without overstaying their welcome.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2025-05-07*

It is very fun and provides a nice challenge. I will say there are some times more than one solution and to me that just makes it more fun to go back and see what the developer had as the intended solution by looking at the tip.

### 5/5 — Just get it.

*2025-04-25*

Absolutely stunned by how beautiful this game is. I NEVER spend money on apps but the reviews claimed Ouros was peaceful and deceptively difficult. I never backdown from a challenge and needed a new late night, peaceful game.

I am absolutely blown away with this game. The levels truly amp up in difficulty as you progress. I am nearly halfway through after several hours of play. A few puzzles have stumped me for several minutes, some puzzles taking at least 10. Then I finally beat it and I’m like wow - obviously - how did I miss that?!?!

I am a huge fan of the start of each chapter giving you some strategy for beating the chapter overall. Pay attention, be slow, and ENJOY. You’re basically collecting skills that become relevant later as you’ll need to combine them!!!

The sounds and music are incredible and peaceful!!! I feel like I am making art while working out my brain and being very zen.

I really hope they make more!

Also shoutout to the developer(s) for giving the glance of your finished line before moving to the map screen. I love seeing what I made.

PLEASE MAKE MORE!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — Great Game!

*2025-03-29*

I enjoyed playing this game very much, everything is right as it needs to be. Great music, sound effects, art direction, level design, puzzles, animations, color choices etc. I only wish there were more levels so I could keep playing it :-)

### 5/5 — A brilliant new wave in mobile gaming

*2025-02-09*

The most elegant use of multitouch I have experienced in contemporary times, not to mention the smooth visuals and excellent sound design. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — So pleasant!!

*2024-12-09*

I don’t write reviews often, but this game surprised me so much! First, I love the user interface. It is zen-like as the description indicates. It provides a sense of calm. Second, the puzzles are the perfect level of challenging and puzzle techniques build upon each other, so by the end of the chapter you get a sense of what is needed to win the level. I am looking forward to more levels hopefully!(:

### 5/5 — This game is Brilliant!! Its so much Fun, too!!

*2024-11-24*

I love this game!!! It is both great fun and super challenging to play. You might say it’s gymnastics for the brain, in the best possible way. Its hard at times. I like hard at times. You have to be both analytical and creative to find a solution. I got really stumped near the end of chapter 5. I had to draw it out. Hint: you have to watch the direction of the movement. That is key. I hope the creators make lots more of these games!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Wow! Love it

*2024-10-22*

I took a chance on this game after reading the reviews and I’m glad I did! It’s relaxing and requires thinking about how to solve the puzzles, all without the pressure of timers. I really appreciate being able to simply buy the game without a subscription and that the game does not gather any of my data.

### 5/5 — Puzzles worth paying for

*2024-10-15, version 1.0.3*

A comforting game, perfect for relaxing. The changing mechanics kept things fresh and stumped me a couple times. Very fun, hope there’s more in the future.

### 5/5 — Relaxing and satisfying!

*2024-10-01*

I originally played this at PlayNYC and it’s a perfect relaxing phone game! It’s the right amount of difficulty and the animations are very satisfying. One bummer is that the sound/sfx doesn’t work on my iPhone, I assume there’s supposed to be sound because the volume is all the way up in the settings but I’m not hearing anything.

**Developer response:** Ooo, thanks for playing Ouros at PlayNYC and on your phone! I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Currently, there is no audio in the game if your phone is on "Silent Mode". If Silent Mode is on, could you try turning it off and see if audio works?

I may update the game in the future so that audio plays whether you are on "Silent Mode" or not.

Once again, thanks for playing!

### 5/5 — Sehr schön

*2024-09-29*

Wunderbar ruhiges, kniffliges aber nicht unmögliches Puzzle. Soweit es mich betrifft, eine neue Idee. Hat mir Spass gemacht. Danke.

Kleiner Vorschlag: Das Hilfe-Icon aus der Mitte soweit versetzen, dass es sich nicht mit dem Ipad Fenster Menü (…) beisst.

### 5/5 — Fun, relaxing and challenging

*2024-09-22, version 1.0.3*

Amazing game. Very fun, relaxing and challenging! Worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Makes my brain purr

*2024-09-22, version 1.0.3*

I love this. It is wonderfully soothing and satisfying. It’s a fun, unique puzzle. I’ve been looking forward to this since a demo at MAGFest, and I’m so glad it’s out!

### 5/5 — Excellent puzzle game.

*2024-09-16, version 1.0.3*

Challenging but always solvable. Most importantly, fun!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs instructions

*2025-01-09, version 1.0.3*

Where do I find the instructions and rules?

### 1/5 — Add ability to listen to own music

*2024-11-07, version 1.0.3*

I can’t think of a better game to listen to your own music while playing and the fact that it auto stops your music apps when loading seems unacceptable in 2024.

### 3/5 — Great concept, small amount of puzzles for the price

*2024-10-04, version 1.0.3*

This game has a great concept, and the puzzles are fun and, at times, complex to solve. However, for the price, the number of puzzles is small.

### 3/5 — Must not work as well on iPad

*2024-09-14, version 1.0.3*

I spent too much time trying to get into corners with no running room

### 3/5 — Good start but needs some tweaks

*2024-09-03, version 1.0.3*

A nice, well made have with innovative gameplay. Problem is that once it starts getting more difficult the constant movement, and constant “bongs” letting me know it wasn’t right, became incredibly distracting and annoying, which very much took away from the chill vibe it’s going for. If you could turn the movement off while you were working on puzzles it would be so much better

### 4/5 — Nice game but wish it was in portrait instead of landscape

*2025-03-14, version 1.0.4*

I prefer games like this in portrait mode. I wish there was a setting to change the orientation.

### 4/5 — Bom, porém...

*2024-12-02*

Jogo muito bom e cumpre com o que promete, o único problema é que está curto demais pelo preço que se paga.

### 4/5 — great game design

*2024-10-20*

Great relaxing game with good puzzles. I decided it buy it after playing a bit at Anime NYC. I love how instead of giving you tutorial text, it gives you simple levels with each new feature introduced, so you can figure it out yourself. If I could change one thing, I would just allow the ability to play other audio in the background while having this app open.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2024-08-24, version 1.0.3*

The first and only Bézier curve game - excellent training if you use Adobe Illustrator. Beautifully designed, gorgeous graphics, and ingenious game progression.

The only problem is that it’s played only in landscape mode, which is quite unnecessary for the gameplay: I prefer to hold my phone in portrait mode, which works fine for the game except all the numbers are sideways. Make them rotate and the game will be perfect.

### 4/5 — Très intéressant

*2024-08-15*

Bonjour
Il manque pour moi la synchro iCloud car je joue à la fois sur iPad et iPhone et la progression n’est pas synchronisée ou alors j’ai raté un paramètre. Avec cela le jeu mérite ses 5 étoiles

### 5/5 — Gorgeous puzzle game

*2026-07-01*

The production quality is high with a lot of attention paid to the music, sound effects, level progression, and visuals. Relaxing and pleasant for the over-stimulated brain, with enough challenge to keep things compelling

### 5/5 — Excellent, Beautiful Puzzles

*2026-05-31*

If you’re looking for a game that exercises your mind, occupies your time, and does not bombard you with childish or vulgar images, this is it. It is beautiful, fun, and just frustrating enough to be challenging.

### 5/5 — Perfect for a long flight

*2026-05-30*

The designer clearly put a lot of thought into this game. The concepts within this game are introduced so smoothly that you don’t even realize how much your intuition is improving with each puzzle. Each new world presents a new challenge that flips your understanding on its head. I’m writing this after reaching world 10 which really highlights this. :)

Besides that the sound design is so calm I found myself locked in for my entire flight.

### 5/5 — Clever

*2026-05-27, version 1.0.5*

A simple puzzle game that builds slowly and logically over various levels, building up from easy to more complex solutions . There’s no rush, and the design is beautiful and calming. A very clever little app.

### 5/5 — Great game!

Great game with incredible art and cool music

### 5/5 — Relaxing

### 5/5 — Amazing game!

*2025-06-22, version 1.0.4*
