## What is OurVocab?

OurVocab is a vocabulary app built for two. Add cards together, study with proven spaced repetition, and watch each other's progress in real time.

For couples bridging a language gap. For teachers tracking what their student is actually learning. For tutors and students who want shared, focused vocab — not generic word lists from someone else.

Works for any language pair: Spanish, French, Mandarin, Arabic, whatever you're studying together.

FEATURES
- Shared deck — every card you add appears in your partner's or student's deck instantly
- Spaced repetition — modern SRS algorithm shows you cards right before you'd forget them
- Stats and streaks — track correct answers, words added, daily streak, weekly progress
- Private milestones — set rewards or goals together that only your pair sees
- Voice cloning — record 30 seconds of audio and hear cards in that voice (powered by ElevenLabs, fully deletable)
- Works offline — study anywhere, syncs when you're back online
- No ads, no trackers, no selling your data

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your deck and progress are shared only between the two people in your household — never with anyone else. We don't read your vocab. We don't analyze your reviews.

WHO THIS IS FOR
- Couples learning each other's language
- Tutors and their students working on focused vocab
- Long-distance partners bridging a language gap
- Anyone who wants vocab practice grounded in real, personal words

### 1.0.11 — 2026-06-09

Multiple workspaces — keep separate vocab decks for different languages (e.g. Spanish and Portuguese) and switch between them in Settings, with the active workspace and its language shown by the logo. Plus fixes for a study-screen flicker and for staying signed in.
