Out & About provides listings of camping meets and temporary holiday sites run by members of the Camping and Caravanning Club which are ideal for short or long stays and often in or close to scenic locations. In this app, you’ll find information on low-cost camping destinations across the UK, exclusively for members. Our events are classified as either Club Meets or Temporary Holiday Sites; the app also highlights our Featured Events, as featured in the Camping & Caravanning magazine. Please note that the app is only accessible to members of the Camping and Caravanning Club and you will require your website login details in order to unlock the app. Please could all members also note that membership cards, including your partner’s card, must be shown to the Steward on Temporary Holiday Sites and Meets. Also, phone numbers are listed, but not clickable. Therefore I have to either scribble it down or take a screenshot and use OCR to extract the number, just make it interactive please. ### 3/5 — Not bad *2023-06-11, version 1.25* Not a bad app. Please add the ability to save favourites. Following January update the walking & Cycling Section meets have disappeared altogether ### 1/5 — Needs improvement *2022-09-03, version 1.21* As a DA committee member, I am aware of numerous cases of campers that missed meets or tried to attend cancelled meets because their app hasn’t downloaded the latest info and they did not realise. Please add a warning for users telling them the data is out of date (e.g. more than a week old) As a camper, I would like more search capabilities: for example to find a meet with toilets and showers or electric hookup etc. this would really help a lot of people. ### 3/5 — Would be great if you could cut & paste address *2022-07-03, version 1.21* Description of venues is often vague. It shows club meets but once you put your dates in it then only picks out a couple of random meets that don’t necessarily even match the dates you wanted.
