Simple the Way I Like It
I used to use a different app that was really good except when you checked everything off on the list, you lost the category. Still, I used it for lack of better options. A recent update allowed for advertising and the advertisement covered half the page making it impossible to see half your list. Since then I have been searching high and low for a simple list to write down what I need and to be able to move the items around so they are in order of how we walk through the grocery store. This is that simple. None of all that other fancy stuff that makes it too complicated. Just the list.
The only reason I gave it three stars is that there is no option for the checked items to go away when you check them. You can make them go away by going into the settings and deleting checked items, but you can’t set it up as a default to make it disappear when you check it (if that makes sense). When the checked items stay on the screen, it increases the chance to make you miss something.
Other than that, it’s great. I’ll be testing it out this weekend to see how well it works for me. Change my one complaint will give it four stars. Add the option to make more than one list that allows you to reuse the categories will give it five. Don’t make it more complicated than that though!

Nice and simple
A nice and simple grocery list. Basic and to the point without all the fancy addons other grocery lists have. I wish, when you add an item, it would allow you to directly put it in the category, from a pull down menu you want, instead of having to tap and hold and drag. It’s a pain to have to tap and hold and drag when you have a lot of items. Another way is to be able to add items directly in the category.
