No more group chats full of "so what are we doing tonight?". OutAndAbout shows you in real time who from your circle is already out. One tap, and you're in. After-work drinks, a birthday, a spontaneous party or a weekend trip: every night out becomes something worth remembering. HOW IT WORKS 1. Check in when you head out — one tap, a few seconds. 2. Your friends see it in the live feed and can join you. 3. You meet up — and the app remembers what you did together. WHAT YOU GET Live feed — see instantly who is out and where Lounge — the virtual meeting point for everyone currently out Events — create, find and share events with your friends Groups & chats — sort out plans without the chaos, right in the app Challenges — who keeps the longest streak? Stats — monthly recap, taste radar, hydration tracker, social battery Hidden Gems — your friends' secret spots on the map QR scanner — add new friends in seconds Vouchers — "this round's on me", even from a distance WHO IT IS FOR For your crew, your regulars, your flatmates, your team. For everyone who wants to meet up more often and fail less often because nobody makes the first move. GAMIFICATION THAT GETS YOU OUTSIDE Earn XP, keep your streaks alive, unlock achievements. The app rewards going out and seeing people — not scrolling the longest. PREMIUM (optional) Ghost Mode — check in invisibly: counts for stats and streak, stays out of the feed Streak Freeze (once a month) — your streak survives a break 10% more XP — climb the leaderboard faster Unlimited groups instead of two Unlimited broadcasts instead of three a day Unlimited vouchers instead of three active ones Photo posts in the feed Custom profile picture and premium profile frame The full friends leaderboard Ad-free Premium comes as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged to your account on purchase confirmation. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your account settings. PRIVACY, BUILT IN GERMANY Servers in the European Union. Analytics, crash reports and personalised ads only with your explicit consent. We never sell your data. Location is shared voluntarily and only at the moment of a check-in. Your account and all data can be deleted completely at any time. AGE 16+ We believe in responsible enjoyment. Drinking is not a competition — the app rewards social activity, not consumption. We won’t ask for your location until you check in. • Most frequent locations: Tap a location in your stats, and the map will jump straight to it. • The daily bonus is back: Your first check-in of the day earns you +50 XP again. • Your check-in now consistently shows the location you saw when you checked in. • More privacy: In your feed, you’ll now only see your friends’ check-ins. ### 1.6.4 — 2026-09-02 Quick reactions in your own words • The buttons on check-in notifications now use YOUR quick replies — one tap posts your comment, with "Undo" next to it • Own replies per category: Settings → Quick replies • Top places: tap the map icon and the map jumps to that place ### 1.6.2 — 2026-08-29 A big quality update for stats, the scanner, events, and groups: STATS YOU CAN TRUST The state statistics are more accurate. New: tap any stats card to see exactly which check-ins are behind it. The Hall of Fame explains itself, and shared fan club cards finally show who your biggest fan is. SCANNER The scanner now recognizes food and other products — not just drinks. EVENTS IN YOUR FEED Event invites no longer stick to the top of your feed for days — they age out like any other post. A new tappable “Upcoming events” banner still shows all upcoming dates with RSVP counts, right up to the event day. GROUPS Group invites now show up right in your feed and on the groups tab, group check-ins show the group, and broadcasts say which group is asking. Plus: an invite button on the QR tab, finer notification settings, lots of bug fixes, and a faster app. ### 1.6.0 — 2026-08-20 Profile and stats now have a place of their own: tap your profile picture, top right. • Tap a number on your profile — stats jump straight to it • Stats: fixed overlapping text on narrow screens • Stat tiles are much easier to read • Splash screen shows the new app icon Tell us what you are missing: hello@w-w-digital.com ### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-26 Dein bisher größtes Stats-Update NEU IM STATS-BEREICH • Neue Struktur: Alles in klaren Bereichen — kein Scroll-Marathon mehr • Monats-Recap: Dein Monat in 30 Sekunden • Signature Move: Was dich unverwechselbar macht • Fanclub: Wer feuert dich am meisten an?
