Since a push notification pop up is brief in text, the recipient selects the notification to be taken into the app to whatever link the Outback Marketing team attached to that notification. Well, it’s useless. Selecting the notification takes you to your own profile page, which is currently the “Home” button in the app. So the promo isn’t at all visible, searchable, or part of the “Mobile App Exclusive” section of the menu in the app.🤷🏻‍♂️ Basically, a dead end notification with a promo you cannot identify in their app. Wake up, Outback! I’m using version 5.14.1 of your app, aka….the latest version as of 5/23/2026. ### 1/5 — Tip pressure for takeout *2026-05-19, version 5.14.1* Outback puts pressure on customers to tip for take-out service. I’ll tip for in-restaurant service always. But to ask for a tip for takeout service is greedy. I ordered one dinner and two soups which was $85.94. Then I was asked to tip, lowest kiosk choice was 15%, which made my order over $100. That is a ridiculous and greedy “ask” for food from kitchen, to a shelf labeled ‘pick-up orders, then to my hand. Pick-up orders should automatically not ask for tips. People feel if they don’t succumb to OUTBACK’s pressure to tip, then the kitchen might do something not nice to their food. My husband asked me to place this order, but after this I’m done. If he wants your food in the future, then he’ll need to do it himself, which he probably wont do. ### 1/5 — App issues *2026-05-08, version 5.14.1* Your app has been a nightmare to navigate and place an order.
