## What is Outflow?

Outflow gives you complete clarity over your recurring spending — without surrendering your bank login, your data, or yet another monthly fee.

KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY
See your true monthly and yearly outflow at a glance, with a clean breakdown of where the money goes by category.

NEVER MISS A RENEWAL
Get a reminder before every renewal — same day, a day before, or up to a week ahead. No more surprise charges or forgotten free trials.

CANCEL WITHOUT THE RUNAROUND
Deciding to cancel is the easy part — finding where is not. Open any subscription, tap Cancel, and Outflow tells you what you'd save over a year, then takes you straight to the right page for that service. If it's billed by Apple, it says so, because deleting an app never stops those payments. Outflow then keeps a running total of what cancelling has saved you, growing every month (Pro).

EFFORTLESS ENTRY, NO BANK LINKING
Other trackers want your bank credentials. Outflow doesn't. Paste a receipt — or pick a screenshot or PDF of one — and on-device intelligence fills in the name, price and billing cycle for you. Or pick from a catalog of popular services and add one in seconds.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no server, no analytics, no tracking. The App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected" because there is genuinely nothing collected.

SIRI & SHORTCUTS
Ask Siri what's renewing soon or what your monthly total is, and add subscriptions by voice.

ONE PURCHASE, YOUR WHOLE FAMILY
Outflow Pro is a single one-time purchase, and it covers up to six family members through Family Sharing — each with their own private list on their own device. No family plan, no second subscription, no per-seat fee.

FIND WHAT YOU'VE FORGOTTEN
Nearly nine in ten people underestimate what they spend on subscriptions, and two in five have forgotten one entirely while still being charged. Outflow walks you through the four places they hide — your Apple Subscriptions, a bank statement, your receipt emails, and a list of the services people most often forget — and ends with the honest number: what you actually pay a year. No bank login, and nothing leaves your iPhone.

PAY ONCE. OWN IT FOREVER.
Outflow is free for up to 5 subscriptions, with reminders, totals and Siri included. Outflow Pro — unlimited subscriptions, Smart Paste, category insights, price-rise history and CSV export — is a single one-time purchase. A subscription tracker should never be a subscription.

• On iPhone, iPad and Mac — a calm, big-screen layout with a sidebar
• Skip a payment (free week, paused delivery) and your totals adjust
• Track any billing cycle: weekly, monthly, quarterly, every 6 months, yearly
• Cancelled subscriptions stay in your list with their history intact
• Price-rise history shows when a service hiked its price
• Export everything to CSV — your data is yours
• Beautiful native design, light and dark

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.4 — 2026-09-03

See what a subscription has really cost you. Price history now draws a graph — the line holds flat and steps on the day the price actually changed, so a quiet rise is obvious at a glance rather than buried in a list of dates.

New to Outflow? It now starts where the money hides. Instead of asking you to type, it walks you through the four places subscriptions actually bill from — your Apple Account, Google Play, PayPal's automatic payments, and your statement. Most people find two or three they could not have named.

Tell us what to build next. Settings › Suggest a feature opens the roadmap without leaving the app. No account, no sign-up, and it goes straight to the person who builds it.

### 4.3.1 — 2026-09-01

Fixes a bug where your Shareflows list could empty itself after opening Outflow on a weak connection.

Nothing was ever lost — those subscriptions stayed in Outflows the whole time — but they quietly stopped being shared with your household, and no button in the app could bring them back. Outflow now tells the difference between "you have stopped sharing" and "I could not reach iCloud", and only the first one changes anything.

Settings › Shareflows diagnostics also gains "Re-download from iCloud", which pulls the truth back down from your account if a device ever gets out of step.

### 4.3 — 2026-08-30

• Spot a price rise. Scan a statement and Outflow now recognises a subscription you already track, tells you what the price used to be, and records the change so you can see what a service has cost you over time.

• Find what you've forgotten, everywhere. The audit now covers PayPal automatic payments and Google Play as well as your Apple Account and your bank statement — money taken through PayPal never shows on a card statement in a form you'd recognise.

• Know how you pay. Mark a subscription as a direct debit, a card payment, Apple, PayPal or Google Play, and the cancellation assistant gives the advice that actually applies — including the part people get wrong: stopping a payment at your bank does not cancel the contract.

• Trends now answers "why". Tap any month to see exactly what made it up, and a new "What's gone up" shows which subscriptions have quietly risen since you started tracking them.

• Household updates you'll actually see. When someone shares, removes or re-splits a subscription, you're told once — and never about your own changes.

### 4.2 — 2026-08-26

• Shareflows — share chosen subscriptions with a partner or your household over iCloud. Either of you can add or adjust what's in the shared list; everything else in Outflow stays private to you.

• Split what you pay. A shared subscription counts towards your totals only by your share, so two people tracking one bill no longer count it twice. Type the amount you pay and the percentage works itself out.

• Change a renewal date. Cancelled on the 18th and resumed on the 20th? Set the next renewal and the whole schedule follows. Your original first-billed date is left alone.

• Artwork, icons and renewal dates now travel with a shared subscription, so it looks the same on both devices.

### 4.0 — 2026-08-20

• Find what you've forgotten — a guided check of the four places subscriptions hide: your Apple Subscriptions, a bank statement, your receipt emails, and the services people most often forget they're still paying for. It ends with the honest number: what you're actually paying a year, across everything it found.
• Anything found beyond your free five is kept in a "Found, not tracked yet" list rather than thrown away, so you keep the knowledge either way.
• Share a statement straight to Outflow from your banking app, Files or Mail. It reads PDFs, screenshots of statements and plain text — all on your device.
