## What is Outfocus?

For the work you want to do—and the days it’s hard to start.

Outfocus is a cozy focus timer for studying, work and the projects you want to make time for. Find your favorite room, choose a task and let the time you put in become something you can see—in your character, your journal and the room you help level up.

Choose your subject and set a focus block that fits your day, or follow a Pomodoro rhythm with short and long breaks. Settle into the Night Library or Reading Nook, surrounded by warm lamps and rainy-window views. Make a familiar corner your place to get started.

Invite a friend to study together: share a room while each of you works on your own task. Everyone’s recorded focus time contributes to the room’s progress. The more hours you put in together, the closer you get to its next level. Make it your regular study spot and see how far you can take it together.

Give your effort a look of its own. Earn yarn through focus and spend it on clothes and accessories for your character. Build your personal level and unlock special pieces at milestones, with something to look forward to as you put in the time.

Your focus journal tells the longer story. Little jars collect your recorded time in a calendar you can look back on. Follow your daily goal, see your hours by subject and watch your sessions add up across the months. Even when a task takes several sittings, you can see the time you’ve given it.

Bring friends together for a group quiz on what you’re learning. Choose a topic or use notes from our companion notes app to generate questions. Get your hand up first for the chance to answer. A little friendly competition, built around the material you want to master.

There’s room for imperfect days. Pause or finish early without losing the focus time already recorded. A shorter session still counts toward your progress.

One task is enough to begin. Your seat is waiting.
