But I am learning. However when I click the photos icon for a particular site - they never open so I just click the x on the upper right. Hmmm ### 4/5 — Great App, would like one more feature *2024-07-01, version 1.6.3* Love this app, but would like it more if the developers could simply make the coordinates able to be copied and pasted with other map apps. For example, I would love to copy the coordinates and paste in apple maps to route it quickly to the spot. Also, I would be nice to be able to take coordinates from Apple Maps and paste in Outly and have it locate the spot so I can pin it. Without this, I am just leave to scroll around on the map until I can find the point, which isn’t too bad, but gets a little annoying since that seems like a small feature to integrate. ### 4/5 — Used the App for Years!! *2024-01-21, version 1.6.3* I always download maps using this app before heading out to a new place. For example when I click on the Wonderland Trail which is a known 99 mile hike, the app tells me it is all of 3.4 miles. The map show camera icons along with the name of what I presume is the feature to see, or worthy of seeing hence the camera icon. Seems reasonable to assume then that there’s a photo of that feature: there isn’t. Not a killer thing; but odd. I’d expect to find a photo of the feature named. I’ll see how it goes with actual use. As well; in settings, under the wildlife segment; when asked to input a state; there are only a few predominantly western US states listed. They advertised it as being about as good as OnX so I expected the ability to mark points, measure distances, and property ownership information. It’s basically just normal mapping software. It’s very good at what it does do but the ad promised a lot more. Road ratings (2wd vs 4wd) is also very helpful. I am a full time rver and I use this app to find new dispersed camping sites. I would like it better if it could search by gps coordinates. Also, if it could somehow interface with google earth that would be amazing. Great App! Go read all the comments to get a good picture. ### 1/5 — Requires location data *2024-08-13, version 1.6.3* The app won’t work at all unless I allow it to access my location. This is intrusive and completely unnecessary. I use a number of map-based weather and outdoor apps, and all of them work fine without location access. The developer’s privacy policy claims they don’t collect any data, so why does it require location access? ### 1/5 — This app doesn’t work *2024-07-26, version 1.6.3* It only shows random individual hiking trails. It gives the wrong distances for everything. The well known Wonderland Trail which is around 99 miles is said to be 3.4 on this app. What the heck. There are several campsites in the middle of the Anza Borrego Desert in CA that show the same pictures of people on a a lake, green grass, trees..???? I thought I’d give it a shot, and they are right - there is no way to access this app directly from the app interface. The map has lots of different settings and filters.
