The only things that I'd like are a zoom function (I can stretch the image using an iPhone or iPad but can't do that with the desktop version - and maybe a 1960's map. ### 3/5 — Just needs a few fixes *2022-10-16, version 3.7.2* With an update to fix UI bugs this has real potential to replace Guru maps. Adding ability to import custom map sources would be a boon. ### 4/5 — Great for map geeks! *2020-08-19, version 3.4.0* Being fascinated by old maps, this seems to be the only app I can find where you can a gps location in real time overlaid on a map that is over a hundred years old. For a free app this is great and I would love to see more developments on this neglected niche of historical maps. I find the historic maps do not zoom in enough though, and is hard to see detail on a phone screen. I would like to see some of the more detailed historic maps incorporated within in app with zoom and overlay feature. I wait in anticipation for this to appear! But this particular app, for a free download, is an excellent and fascinating tool for map geeks. ### 4/5 — Good maps app. *2020-04-13, version 3.4.0* Works well and I can see myself using in the future. If the developer is reading this, I must bring your attention to an annoying issue. The select maps source menu cannot be read since both the background and the text is white. Please could you reinstate the 'Save Waypoint' feature. A while back an iOS update knocked-out the functionality of this Map, and some would-be users didn't realise that this wasn't Haud-Me-Back's fault (with quite unfair criticisms); anyway there's obviously been a lot of hard working going on and early this month Outside Maps once again started to work again ..... I reckon even better than before ! Obviously Ordnance Survey only covers UK, but selecting OpenStreetMap gives me Europe and some parts of Africa (I haven't explored it all yet); I've found OpenCycleMap particularly useful ..... when I visited the NW Italian Med very recently. Back to UK and myself ......., with both my wife and I needing reading glasses these days for paper versions, I can enlarge the screen picture on my iPad-Mini enough to give us directly readable OS Maps; more easily viewed detail and a pleasure to use; makes us both feel 'young' again ! Zooming in on the Ordnance Survey maps shows the detail mapping that shows to precise location of nearly all of the bench marks on the Ordnance Survey list. I’m really glad I discovered this app. ### 5/5 — Please fix new bug *2020-08-05, version 3.4.0* Text to select map source has become invisible after latest update - white on white background when using dark theme - almost unusable now. Great app otherwise. As I mainly switch to OpenStreetMap it is frustrating trying to choose from the invisible text options for the map source. Please also include an option for selected map source to remain as the default choice. Also the tile cache seems unreliable when offline.
