Things have been made so simple to follow even my 4 year old can manage. ### 5/5 — I anticipated dooms day *2025-04-16, version 8.6.22* I am a first time Outsurance customer, referred by my sister and wouldn’t have thought of the brand ‘cause I always thought they are very expensive. At inception of contract I noticed one element of my vehicle information was captured incorrectly so I called. The error was corrected in my absence and from a quoted instalment of approximately 1700, the instalment jumped to approximately 2500 and I called to understand. I dreaded the call because I anticipated having to jump through hoops and million red tapes to get this sorted, and I had already cancelled my insurance. I was ready to fight tooth and nails, I anticipated having to write a million emails to motivate my stance, escalating higher and raising my voice a few times, I had the scenario all played out in my head. I gunner the courage and call and I was referred to Thabelo the specialist to assist. He made the call so easy and I was still thinking it is tactics to calm me ‘cause a storm was brewing. Kept my cool and he asked to come back to me the same day. To my surprise and absolute relief, the instalment was taken back to the initial agreement and I did not have to kick and scream. In all I have written, a big thank you to Outsurance, firstly for beating my current insurer and secondly for saving me the emotional and psychological turmoil and keeping your word. ### 5/5 — Outsurance create followers *2025-04-05, version 8.6.17* Outsurance is a breath of fresh air. The use of technology makes them innovative & creative. Their service is breathtakingly good. Very easy and convenient. ### 3/5 — Bug *2025-01-29, version 8.5.10* Trying to insure a vehicle but app keeps saying email is required when trying to load the info, put email in space provided but still says email is required so can’t get past that. Please fix this bug. I use this for my pet insurance and doesn’t even immediately show that it’s for 2 pets. From the start I knew I was in good hands. It’s generally a great app and has all you need for quick access. Lately, since 6+ months ago, the app keeps asking me to log in. I log in. Get logged out. Get asked to log in again. Multiple times a day. It’s become a frustration at this point. My app is up to date. However I cannot find the App in the Location services to turn on the location services to enable smart drive dir the 10% discount. You login into the app and select always on. Low and behold before you know it you are disconnected. You try to log in again and as soon as you do you get blank screen. Had to delete the app 4 times today and reinstall it. What a waste of time money and data. I registered for discount according to my driving. Well I get the message they can’t find my location. I then go to settings and select always on AGAIN and then it connects to the app for a short while. Please improve this app and make it more user friendly because at this rate I will NEVER qualify for any discount!!! ### 1/5 — Not good at all *2021-03-01, version 7.4.2* For a very basic app this does not perform very well. It has been a few days now and the vehicle tracking has still not recorded one of my 10 trips I have taken. I have deregistered and registered again hoping there was a linking issue but after taking a few trips still nothing. There is no info to see if my trips are detected and being uploaded or what the status is of a trip. I checked the permissions the location is set to always and precise as per requirements. The motion and fitness is on as well. Background app refresh is on as well. You have all the permissions you could possibly need. I also know it is not my device as I have other apps that track my motion for running and cycling as well as one for vehicles and they all work perfectly. Please fix your app! Also your the biometric login is not functional the app keeps loggging me out.
