OuttaBand BCP is a secure out-of-band communications and alerting platform built for IT and cyber security incident response and business continuity plan execution.
When your corporate network is compromised — when email, Teams, Slack, and VoIP can't be trusted — OuttaBand BCP gives your IT team and executive leadership a secure, encrypted channel to coordinate the response.
SECURE ALERTING
Trigger P1-P4 incident alerts that reach enrolled devices instantly. P1 Critical Alerts bypass Do Not Disturb and the silent switch, ensuring your team responds to active threats immediately — even at 3am.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTED MESSAGING
All messages are encrypted with AES-GCM 256-bit using keys derived via ECDH key agreement. Your backend never sees plaintext. Private keys never leave the device.
BCP PLAYBOOK EXECUTION
Activate business continuity playbooks during an incident and track step-by-step progress in real time. Every enrolled team member can see who has completed which steps, with role-based assignments and timestamps.
ORGANISATION DIRECTORY
View your entire incident response team with online status, role assignments, and escalation chain positioning. Know who is available and who to escalate to.
SECURE CHANNELS
Create team channels for persistent group communication or incident-specific channels that are automatically created when a P1/P2 alert fires. All end-to-end encrypted.
LOCAL MESH FALLBACK
When the internet is unavailable, OuttaBand BCP can communicate device-to-device over Bluetooth and WiFi Direct using MultipeerConnectivity.
