Fix the bugs and I’ll change my rating! ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-03-29, version 4.95.0* I payed for it and try to watch it on the app and it gave me issues, it didn’t allow me to watch anything, only if I watch it on my Roku tv. So I canceled it ! I wanted to support the love for dilfs! Which is a ok/ good show but I found another site to watch it for free on my phone ### 2/5 — Watch one episode and just after starting another *2023-10-10* I was told in a message in the app that the content isn’t available in my location. Everything I tried told me that so I even tried to restart the last episode I had just watched and I was informed the content is available at my location. Funny payment from my location had no issue being processed but fulfilling their end of the transaction after payment is received is only a suggestion I guess. ### 2/5 — hard to navigate *2023-07-18, version 4.83.1* i enjoy thé shows on this app quite a lot but the reset password link stalls when you click it, it randomly signed me out cause i turned my wifi on and off while watching. i think it needs more work ### 2/5 — App doesn’t work *2023-05-26, version 4.71.0* Many issues but most frustrating is there is no way to play a movie in the app on apple tv. You can add to your list but there is no play button. So there is no way to watch the content you are paying for. I was subscribed to apple tv channel but since there is no way to connect the app when subscribing to apple tv channel I wanted to try the stand alone app since there is more content there. Back to the apple tv channel version for me so I can actually watch movies!! P.S. please just connect the apple tv channel option to the stand alone app like other channels do so there is no need for 2 subscriptions! Or having to choose one over the other. ### 1/5 — APP DOES NOT WORK WELL *2023-05-23, version 4.71.0* Incredibly unstable Constant reboots One if the worst of all the apps I have ### 1/5 — Scammers *2023-03-31, version 4.71.0* They take your money and lock you out still even with proof they won’t do shot for you ### 2/5 — Major updates needed *2023-03-22, version 4.71.0* This is across the board from the IOS app to the TVOS app. Examples include basics like: -ability to save a favourite program -ability to view all favourites -ability to resume -ability to add to “Up Next” in Apple TV Often crashes on IOS as well as TVOS, and even when you are just going back to the TVOS app, you are always asked to sign in. This is a great way to lose all of your customers through frustration. These are a few examples that would be useful and appreciated and much needed. Otherwise I would give the programs a good grade. Thanks! ### 1/5 — Buggy at best *2023-03-21, version 4.71.0* I’ve had this app for less than three days, and it already has stopped working. I can’t cast anymore or use the smaller video window view, it doesn’t work. Also, there are only two seasons of Drag Race on the app (14 and 15). Why is anyone paying for this service again? I’m cancelling and getting a refund for this crap. ### 1/5 — What happened to the brightness? *2023-03-07, version 4.71.0* I use this app on Apple TV, used to watch it regularly for RuPauls Drag race and had no issues (some performance issues here & there but nothing crazy) I redownloaded the app recently and wow… what happened to the brightness?? It looks like you have a constant dim filter on which doesn’t make for a good viewing experience, not to mention navigating the app is a pain, your cursor doesn’t cooperate constantly loosing it which is strange. If I didn’t buy a years subscription to the service I wouldn’t be using this app, very disappointing. I’d say give it an update but an update is what made this app so much worse. ### 1/5 — Comically bad *2023-02-16, version 4.71.0* Whoever was involved with creating, bug testing, or user optimizing this app should be removed from the professional sphere and exiled to a deserted island full of equally incompetent people—all of which will likely freeze to death and starve within the first hour of being there. It’s a total joke that millions of dollars have been wasted to produce the BY FAR worst streaming service across multiple devices. The fact it signs me out, doesn’t recognize my subscription, or won’t let me reset my password (it redirects to a page from 2018? How hard is a redirect?) is a total joke. We often have to run two subscriptions at the same time to just have one be recognized. You should pay me $4/month to have this trash on my apple device. I’ve already paid for and registered my subscription, I’ve tried watching Call Me Mother so many times and each time it asks to to pay for a subscription. Then after I go through the hassle of selecting one and it saying I already have one it fails to load and asks me to try again. This is a scam. ### 1/5 — Ugh… *2024-07-07, version 4.114.0* Horrible app numerous times playing a show I get a error code, I cancelled the app.. ### 1/5 — Garbage app, don’t waste your money *2024-06-12, version 4.95.0* I waited to review this app until I tried multiple times to have tech support fix it. Initially, it was that you could connect to your Chromecast, but no videos would play, there was an error. I emailed tech support and they said their engineers were working on it. 1 week later I received an email that it was fixed. It worked to cast, but the auto play function didn’t work even though it was turned on. I again emailed tech and they said they would inform their engineers. The very next night, after only one night of it working, it would no longer connect to the Chromecast in any way. Then, 20 minutes later it did work. This app is just such a crapshoot. No way to know if or when it will work. ### 1/5 — OMG the App is just trash *2024-05-05, version 4.95.0* This is about the AppleTV the phone app is trash too but I only keep it cause it’s how I signed up. The AppleTV app is the only way I watch. Although I wish I had gotten the channel in Apple TV+ cause I’d wager it works better. The content is okay. The app however is a total dumpster fire. Seriously if you have to rewind you have to exit out of the show reenter and then use forward or back word 10 second button on the screen and once it’s gone you have to exit and enter the program again to get it back. For some reason the whole fast forward and rewind function of pushing left or right on the track pad like literally every other streaming app does was what obvious of a way to fast forward. Omg I will not be resubscribing to this. It’s gonna end up costing me way to much when I get so frustrated with the app the I end up throwing the remote through the tv. I can the issue. Someone rather than actually put in the work and build a new opted simply port over the original iOS app to Apple TV fact made evident by the who 10 second forward ten second back that is predominantly used on phones and tablets since they don’t have remotes with dedicated, fast-forward and rewind buttons ### 1/5 — Blah *2024-03-21, version 4.95.0* When I launch the app it just says Oops something went wrong! Never been able to use it ### 1/5 — Does Not Play *2024-01-18, version 4.95.0* The app ALWAYS has something wrong going on. Videos rarely play and an error notification pops up. Almost every time I use the app I have troubles. What’s the point of paying for something that doesn’t work. Also you can’t let the videos play in the background on your phone. I like to scroll social media, send emails, etc with videos in the background but you can’t with this app. ### 1/5 — Broken app, do not use *2023-07-13, version 4.83.1* The app says I’m not subscribed even though I’m subscribed monthly. When I click on the subscribe button the option for monthly subscription is no longer available so the app must register that I’m subscribed for a month but still isn’t letting me access content. It’s either broken or a scam, either way it needs to be removed from the App Store until it’s fixed. ### 1/5 — Can’t watch movies *2023-06-15, version 4.71.0* Had this on my google tv, then tried the android app, and now the iPad app, and across all three, there is absolutely no way to play a movie. None. Zilch. You can add it to your list so you can stare longingly at the poster art for the movie you wish you were watching, but that gets pretty boring after a while. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Dr. Jackie! *2024-06-26, version 4.114.0* Only reason I subscribed to OutTV was because I wanted to see Dr. Jackie’s show! I have no problems with the app or features. I mean, it’s pretty good considering this is a small production and distribution company compared to the likes of Disney and WarnerMedia. ### 5/5 — App works well for me *2023-11-22, version 4.95.0* I have used the Out TV service for about a year now and I have not experienced any issues with the app for iPhone or iPad. It also seems to run smoothly and they just recently added a feature to allow for downloading content for offline viewing. I also like to use the Roku app to view on a TV and the desktop version which also have not presented any issues for me. The Chromecast option in the app though does not seem to work for me and it would be nice to have an option to send the content from the app to Apple TV too. I believe they do have an Apple TV app though so that could be a viable workaround for now. ### 5/5 — They have definitely fixed things up. *2023-02-22, version 4.71.0* I subscribed to see Nubia Amplified. It’s so hard to find video links anywhere, and to spend $4.00 a month is so worth it to me. This app NEVER crashes and is VERY reliable. I don’t have a problem with it. I don’t get why people are complaining about it. It’s a decent price and has excellent video streaming. Ya’ll just have that McDonald’s WiFi.... 😂💁🏼‍♀️ Thank you Out Tv for making a streaming service affordable 😊❤️ Keep those updates coming!!! 😁 PLEASE UPLOAD RUPAULS DRAG RACE: DOWN UNDER! 😁 ### 5/5 — Nice content, bad app client *2021-02-17, version 3.12* I really like the content 5 stars for that only. The app is useable, but overall UX is very bad. It doesn’t track where I stopped watching via Chromecast, the search tool isn’t smart, and you need to dig to find things to watch, descriptions of the show lack a lot of information like release date, etc. But don’t let the bad app UX alone be a reason to give up on the content, let’s hope they make it better and updated it more frequently. ### 5/5 — Love this app & Customer Service *2018-12-13* While it can be a tad glitchy.. The most recent update of this app clearly had an error made when the ability to cast was removed. I messaged them on Facebook messenger and told them the issue and they answered me in minutes! I provided screen shots and some techy info app versions ect.. and they assured me it was error forsure and that it would be looked into right away. Needless to say it’s fixed and can cast again!!! Awesome!
