## What is Oven & Butter?

Oven & Butter brings the whole baking journey into one calm, focused app.

DISCOVER AND SAVE RECIPES

Browse a curated baking library, save favourites, organise recipes into folders, and keep your own recipes alongside Oven & Butter's collection.

IMPORT WITHOUT RETYPING

Turn a recipe link, pasted text, photo, or screenshot into an editable recipe draft. Review every ingredient and step before saving. AI imports use optional credit packs—there is no subscription.

CREATE WITH AI

Describe your bake, portions, equipment and preferences to create an editable recipe draft guided by baking knowledge. Review the quantities and method, then save it and use Bake Mode. AI-generated recipes are not kitchen-tested. Completed drafts use one credit; interrupted requests can be recovered without paying twice. A matching AI cover illustration is included with each generated recipe, with no extra credit charge. You can save and bake even if the illustration is unavailable.

PLAN BAKE DAY

Choose when you want to serve and Oven & Butter builds the timeline backwards. Keep preparation, proving, baking, cooling, and finishing work in the right order.

BAKE STEP BY STEP

Use Bake Mode for clear instructions, built-in timers, serving adjustments, notes, and visual references while your hands are busy. Optional read-aloud guidance has a mute control and a saved voice preference.

KEEP THE KITCHEN ORGANISED

Track pantry quantities and expiry dates, see what needs attention, build shopping lists from recipes, and carry preferred products through to your next shop.

LEARN FROM EVERY BAKE

Record outcomes, photos, and notes in your bake history so the next attempt starts with what you learned last time.

BUILT FOR BAKERS

• Metric and imperial preferences
• Dietary and allergy defaults
• Estimated nutrition clearly labelled as an estimate
• Local-first recipe, pantry, shopping, planning, and history data
• Sign in with Apple for AI services and recoverable AI credits
• No third-party advertising or cross-app tracking

Oven & Butter's everyday baking tools work without a subscription. Optional consumable credit packs are available for AI-powered recipe imports and new recipe drafts.
