It was my one source destination for pizza ordering . But today I am deleting this app because over time they have degraded the quality and increased the prices. Today I ordered two pizzas and the quality was so gross that I had to throw it midway. I am switching to other platform. ### 1/5 — Downgrade quality *2024-08-20, version 1.5.4* At the time of start, we got excellent food quality from My Oven Story, and we started ordering from oven story instead of Dominos and other outlet, but sorry to say as the time passed, the quality of food as well as service is getting downward day by day and after seeing yesterday incident, where we got partial order and no response from customer service, we have decided the move back to dominos instead of oven stroy 😡 ### 4/5 — Awesome Pizza but App is bit confusing *2024-03-02, version 1.4.8* Pizzas are worth rates. Needs UI enhancement. ### 1/5 — Pathetic service - Wrong order delivered and no fix or Refund *2023-12-31* The after sales is pathetic I ordered cheese burst margherita pizza for my daughter and was delivered just a regular Margherita pizza which is a waste as mu daughter eats and likes the cheese burst version only The response i received from the customer service was “Sorry for the inconvenience, we have passed on the feedback to our concerned team to ensure such issues do not happen again. Your feedback is valuable for us and helps us better our services” I demanded a replacement of order OR refund and was denied both stating that there is way too many orders and more orders cannot be catered by the location responsible to execute the order. I was then asked to call in future and reference the number provided for a replacement order. There is no order line for Eatsure OR Owenstory that I am aware of. I asked for the number and the executive also was unable to provide the number. If you have problem with the quality of the order there is absolutely no mechanism in place to register your grievance. So once you are delivered substandard food there is nothing that you can do. It clearly shows that it is nothing but a scam with a customer on the name of delivering pizza. The pizza I got was totally under cooked and I had to throw it out. I sincerely hope that no other customer is faced with such a situation again that is the only reason I am writing this review. ### 1/5 — Not expected this out of my favourite pizza place *2023-06-23* I ordered pizza today through over story app for home delivery. Just 5-10 mins before delivery time I received a call from the store that paneer is not available. They could have told this asap post order placement but they didn’t. I had kids at home who were screaming for food. I asked them to send a garlic bread as compensation for late update. Plus they cancelled my order on their own and refund was to come after 15-20 days. I was asked to place another order and that they would for sure come back to me on what they could do for the inconvenience caused. But they didn’t. When I called their phone was ringing but they picked the call and kept it aside with no one responding. When I called again their ph was busy, this happened several times. And they were least bothered to get back to me which they said they would. I demand for compensation might not be just but they should have atleast had the courtesy to facilitate in some form for the inconvenience caused. Not able to add address, when I went for payment the empty screen came and when i go back therr is nothing in cart, no address nothing. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Never going to order from such services. ### 1/5 — Worst services *2023-03-20, version 1.3.3* Worst services and staff, wasted our time by placing the order to them, tried calling appointed delivery person many times to know the status, finally I came to know that he was actually on leave, why kitchen team has shared his number as delivery person he is not aware.. finally after 1.30 hrs I canceled the order.. Totally waste of time and energy ### 1/5 — Worst App with common linked database *2023-02-25* I don’t understand why does this app exist? Better go with Eat sure app. Because they share common database. If you registered with different user name and email id with eat sure app. And if you newly register on ovenstory app with different user name and different email id with common phone number, it refers only eat sure app details. Invoice generated with ovenstory app has eat sure billing details. Even after reaching out many times to ovenstory customer support, they were unable to help you. I dont know what developers doing with this app. This is disgusting. ### 3/5 — Pizza, good. App, not so much *2023-01-21* Ovenstory pizza is definitely good. I order usually at least once or twice a month. But the app has a few issues. Categories are clear, but I have to hunt around for the offers. There’s no option for an offers section on the drop down menu The support section could also use some work. The automated faq is not complete And lastly, the sure points. They advertise how many sure points you can get on every item in the menu. It’s right there, Next to the cost. But they never specify that you have to input your order number in the specific sure points menu to even get them added onto your account. Now, you find this hidden gem and you input your crn number in this points account, but nothing happens. You can never redeem these points. I have always been a loyal fan of Oven Story and even gave them a 5-star rating previously because of their taste. But today was disgusting. I tried to order COD twice and they cancelled it both times for no reason. Immediately after the cancellations, the app showed the store as 'Closed'. But as soon as I placed an order with Domino's, the store magically became 'Open' again. This 'open-close' manipulation is a total fraud on hungry customers. You just lost a loyal customer today. Also some crumbs were found while chewing the pizza, you guys don’t even know how to cut a pizza!!! I’ve never seen ridiculous piece. You guys ruined my Christmas at last. You guys charge little amount from free pizza and then you call it a free pizza. I placed my order at 5:38 PM, and the delivery time kept getting delayed — first 6:20, then 6:25, then 6:35, and now 6:50 PM. Over an hour and ten minutes later, and still no pizza! Completely unacceptable. If this is how first-time customers are treated, I can only imagine how bad it gets later. I’m uninstalling this app and will never be ordering from this place again. I understand I live in Bengaluru but with fake advertisements please do not cheat your customers. I used have great meals and services with oven story. But now this has become a headache. NEVER WILL ORDER FROM OVER STORY PIZZA AGAIN. ### 1/5 — Pathetic services *2025-09-14* I order at 7:38PM and I received it around 10:15 PM this type of services they provide u tried cancelling the order I got to through chat I can’t cancel it and the reason was the food is prepared and if you wish to cancel then u won’t get any refund this was the message I received and after taking many follow ups I get the order and the food/ pizza was so cold and the boxes was all wet this was the condition of the boxes I agree due to rain it might get delay but 2 hours of delay and I will never ever recommend oven story to any of my family member or friends as most of my friends already gave me their experience but still I thought I should try and this was my first order and the worst experience I got. Hardly any any vegetables! Same for my other three pizzas. Dragon paneer pizza and two non veg pizzas. Complaints by email- only one response- we take utmost care in preparing our pizzas, they are proper. No comment on the photos. Call to their helpline- we can’t do anything. We can’t escalate. I ordered food and it got accepted then after 35 mins they cancelled it then I again ordered it then again it was accepted and then after 42 mins they again cancelled it They are wasted our time and at the end we didn’t even got the food. The support team did not provide any solution to my concerns and failed to respond to any of my queries. Additionally, I would like to report that the delivery boy pressured me into giving a 5-star rating before handing over the order. To make things worse, the pizza I received was cold, lacked cheese and toppings, and was completely dry. It was absolutely not worth the money I paid — a total waste. At 11:30 I received a call from the service provider they said we don’t have pizza beards to complete your order. I was literally shocked after wasted my 1 hr they released to tell me that we are unable to complete your order due to lack of materials. What a pathetic service 😂. The pizza had no crust, was stale, and even burnt in some parts. Honestly, even a street vendor offering pizza would have been a better option than this. I had seen a lot of negative reviews on Reddit and elsewhere, but I decided to ignore them and give it a try. In hindsight, if I had trusted my instincts and those reviews, I would have saved myself the trouble and spent my money at more reliable places like Domino’s or Pizza Hut. Hope to see you ordering again soon! ### 5/5 — Best Customer Service I’ve Experienced from a Food Brand EVER *2026-05-29* I’ve been ordering from OvenStory for a long time now and must have placed 25–30 orders at least. It’s usually my go-to choice on weekends and whenever we have guests at home. The reason I keep coming back is simple: good pizzas, good prices, and consistently good service. Over all these orders, there have only been two occasions where something went wrong. Once, I had ordered a thin crust pizza but received a regular crust instead. This time, the pizzas arrived without being sliced. What impressed me was how both situations were handled. In the first case, they sent a replacement pizza. This time as well, they listened to my complaint properly and sent another set of 2 pizzas, along with a Choco Lava Cake and a Lemon Soda. Nobody gets everything right 100% of the time. What matters is how a company responds when things go wrong, and OvenStory has been excellent on that front. The pizzas taste great, the quality is consistently good, and the customer support team genuinely cares about resolving issues. That’s the reason I’ve remained a loyal customer and will continue ordering from them.
