I would pay for the subscription if the app was more stable. Thank you for letting us know! ### 4/5 — Updated *2024-01-29, version 11.21.0* Purchased the app and it kept showing me as a guest. Had to contact developer. Recommended I use my computer to get working. That did work but now the problem is not all the features work on the app. The icon to create routes doesn’t appear like it shows in the YouTube training video. Very frustrated and disappointed. I really was hoping this would work. I jut wasted $30 Update The video doesn’t show the latest update on how to create a route. The plus sign on lower right supports this function. ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-03-26* This app does not let you cancel your subscription after you’ve signed up. Not to mention there’s nothing in this app that makes it worth the $30 membership. There are other apps and avenues that cost far less or nothing that do a better job. ### 4/5 — High Point *2023-03-01* We arrived on a Friday late afternoon in August. There was about 6 different groups setup. Some with just one occupant and others with 6/8 people. Everyone was cool, but be prepared to have party noise late into the evening. The sound of the waves crashing into the rocks helps drown out the voices. ### 4/5 — New update is lovely. But….. *2023-01-26* The new update is fantastic but there is one feature that I have been really waiting on someone to do and that is off-road nav via CarPlay. I normally tuck my phone away while driving so the ability the use and view off-road nav via my head unit would be lovely. I have a cheaper aftermarket radio and can’t afford a garmin tread or something like that so this one feature would be game changing. Even on x off-road doesn’t do this. (Technically they do but it doesn’t actually do much. As I am talking about a full useful UI. ) ### 4/5 — Works Pretty Well *2022-11-17* Functionally this app is 90%. The forums work fine, if a little clunky. The map has a steep learning curve. This would be a 5 Star App if they added better iPad Support and made this Apple CarPlay compatible for the mapping. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review! Let us know howe it goes! ### 2/5 — Scam *2022-02-05* Free app that does nothing for free. And you have to permission to everything, photo? Camera, location at all times…….for what? You don’t need camera access for me to look at a map. **Developer response:** We have made major improvements to the onboarding and feature access based on community feedback. Honestly I just feel like OB1 is a colossal failure in my book. So much so I just walked away, every time I come back there is always an issue. Plus when you reach out with questions… crickets. Back in May 10th 2025 I ordered merch from their online store. After a month of not receiving or hearing anything I reached out and was told they had sent out for production of the emblem and would ship out end of week. Here we are July 14th. Still no product. I’ve sent 4 additional emails in past week to get an answer and absolute crickets. No email, no phone call. They don’t have a legitimate business address, it’s registered in Delaware but doing business in California. No contact phone. I’ll be sending complaints to both states of DE and CA. Also going to cancel the subscription renewal, as this app hasn’t really added in value for the price and with other options being much better. Sorry to go, but you’ve had ample time to make this right. Refund my money please. Bad business! ### 1/5 — Apple app non-functional *2025-06-07, version 11.24.0* As a long-time member and investor, I have used & enjoyed the Android app many years. I am glad it still works, but am disappointed that I am not able to access the standard login on the iOS app (it is covered by a partial page hung at the bottom of the landing screen). Although I can work around this by using an Android device, I hope they will fix the iOS version as that is now my daily carry device. ### 1/5 — Crashes and cannot make an account *2025-03-31* Just downloaded this because I’m trying to start overlanding and truck camping, but for some reason I CANNOT make an account or log in through google. If I try to create an account, it says “can’t create user”. Then if I back out and try to sign up through my google account, the app crashes. Essentially, I can’t get past logging in. If they fix the issue and I get a response, I’ll take this review down and/or change it. ### 1/5 — Banned No Reason *2024-04-08* Made an account with this app. Then this app/ community will ban you for wanting to change your using name. No email saying they don’t approve the new user name. As well as no email saying your been banned then take your account down to guest. Had to find out when signing in. That’s not how a community should be. **Developer response:** Thank you for reporting this! We found our spam filter was capturing some Apple Relay emails by mistake. Great app. Map puts me exactly on the road/trail and track me for the entire run. I really like the inclusion of all the side trails and where they may re-join my elected trail. The look and feel is similar but the improvements, stability, and new features are everywhere. Quickly becoming the only app needed. Definitely different from other apps in that this one is community centric. The developers and Michael listen closely to all suggestions and quickly implement them. The forums are a wealth of information but the map feature is impressive. I’ve easily been able to locate campsites and trails near me that I never knew existed.
