## What is Overland Hub?

One App: Plan your route, find places to camp, track your drives and stay connected with overlanders you meet along the way. Overland Hub brings campsites, offline maps, trip tracking and a community into one place.

Built for life on the road, by people on the road.

Find your next stop
Discover thousands of campsites, wild camping spots, viewpoints, fuel stops and other useful places along your route. See what's nearby, check the details and save places for later.

Navigate, even offline
Explore detailed offline maps wherever the road takes you. Download the areas you need before heading off grid and keep navigating when there's no signal.

Track your journey
Keep a record of your travels as you go. Track your route, drives, see where you've been and build a map of your journey over time.

Discover the community
See where other overlanders are travelling, discover places shared by the community and connect with people along the way. Whether you're looking for advice, travelling the same route or just want to say hello, you're never far from another traveller.

Built for overlanding
Overland Hub is designed around the way we actually travel: long drives, remote roads, changing plans, wild camps and the occasional complete lack of signal.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.3.0 — 2026-10-08

Sitio is now Overland Hub. Your account, places, lists, drives and friends are all still here.

New since the last update:
• Community: see what your friends are up to, and write posts only your friends can see
• Privacy zones: hide the parts of your drives near home, work or anywhere else
• Drive Sharing: choose who sees your new drives by default
• Location sharing explains what it does before asking for permission, and turns off completely when you share with nobody
• Edit your reviews, and add photos to border crossing guides
• Map search also finds alerts, waypoints and your lists
• Updated privacy policy and terms
• Fixes and improvements

### 2.1.1 — 2026-08-14

This update is about control and speed.

- The free Sitio Pro trial now starts when you choose, not automatically at signup. Unlock it any time from the Sitio Pro page.
- Location sharing: choose how often your shared pin updates, from real time to once a day. Optionally share a live pin with your existing contacts while recording a drive.
- Signup now ends with a plain explanation of what your location is used for and who can see it (nobody, unless you say otherwise).
- Wildfire outlines load in seconds at full detail, now served from Sitio's own servers.
- Map search shows places, campsites, and people as each result arrives, usually within a second.
- The People map loads in one pass and stays loaded when you switch views.
- Fixes: group posts wrap correctly, and the first launch is calmer with fewer pop-ups.
- The Lists tab no longer hides Discover Public Lists when you have no lists of your own.
