Frozen have tried several things will not complete **Developer response:** Sorry for the disappointment and my slow response. This seems to be caused when a file was corrupted in the download, we have added new code to deal with that better. If you clear the app cache (or delete the app and reinstall it) that first page should load in a few mins. Sorry, I know this would have been more helpful ages ago. ### 1/5 — Won’t open *2020-07-02* App won’t initialise. Tried everything but it’s useless **Developer response:** Sorry for the hassle and my very slow response. If you still want to try it again, you can clear the cache (or delete the app and install it again) and the download will start again. It should only take a few minutes. This app should’ve removed from the store. After multiple attempts of deleting the app and re downloading it is now stuck on a single picture with a frozen download wheel. When it tells you to start download it comes up with the words “initialisation failed” I’ve deleted the App several times and tried to download it again and again but it still doesn’t work. Very disappointed with it and such a waste of money. If I could give it zero stars I would. ### 1/5 — Very slow initial download *2022-07-02* I haven’t been able to use the app, as the initial large slow download has not completed **Developer response:** Sorry for the issue. We are working on a fix to reduce the amount that needs to be downloaded first go, but this data allows you to access lots of stuff offline. So fix your app now, either clear the app cache, or delete the app and re-download it when you have a good internet connection. Once that initial download it done, it should be happy. ### 1/5 — App has been downloading offline docs for 4 hours *2020-11-05* This app doesn’t work unfortunately **Developer response:** Hi Ruby, sorry for my late reply, only just saw this. If you clear the cache (or delete the app and download it again) it should be happy. With a reasonable internet connection this download should take about 1-2 mins. So sorry it did not work for you. A lot of time and effort put in to it to make it easy to use and informative. I love all the extra pieces of information around geology, wildlife and gear just to name a few.
