## What is Overload?

Overload was designed with one purpose in mind: to help you lift more. Stop forgetting previous sets, and keep track of your lifts and body weight exercises with a light-weight tool that doesn't get in the way. Add your workout group, add your workout, log your workout... that's it! We took the journal notes and spreadsheets we used to make and organized them digitally into Overload. And unlike your journal, the Overload app will let you know how you're doing compared to previous sets! Our goal was to create something simple that adapted to your workouts, and not the other way around. Disable/enable features and make the app work for you! Fully customizable, zero fluff. Lift. Log. Overload.

## Key features

- Log sets and reps
- Track bodyweight exercises

### 3/5 — Cant build a custom workout routine

*2026-01-27*

My split is upper body, lower body, chest, back, legs

But when i add specific back workouts like barbel rows to my upper body day and back day it wont let me keep the exercise on both days and switches it to either upper day or back day.

Overall decent app but it could have more features added and fine tuned to make it a great app

### 3/5 — Too simple

*2025-01-22*

Love UI but its missing key features like being able to delete a exercise.

### 4/5 — Simple, fast, and free, but with some bugs.

*2024-10-26*

Best workout tracker I’ve used so far! I just needed something to help me with progressive overload and it just does the job! Nothing less or more. The first issue I observed is that it takes a while for the app to sort the new sets in the list. Same issue with sorting workout lists. The second issue is that when using KG as the preferred unit, the app still thinks you’re using LBS and converts entries to KG. I hope Andron fixes these issues soon.

### 5/5 — great, simple app. no ads!

*2024-05-23*

but … i wish you could track time for exercises that don’t have reps, like a plank

### 5/5 — Amazing app, just works!

*2024-04-10*

No ads, no trackers, no membership, no nonsense!

### 5/5 — Simple yet effective

*2024-01-25*

Live the simplicity, it’s fast and effective. Highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — Great app In terms of how easy it is

*2023-12-04*

The app is very easy to use and not cluttered at all I wish I knew what the 2.5 / 10 / 25 buttons meant and what functionality they serve but yea so far so good Apple health app integration would be nice and a way to see progress over time :)

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2023-10-02*

I’ve been looking for a fitness app to log workouts for a while and this app is insanely good! Super simple and user-friendly! Kudos to the dev for making such a useful tool!

### 5/5 — Great. Simple. Progress.

*2023-09-30*

This app just dropped in the App Store and all I can say is I’m impressed. It helps me keep track and record my workout progress without all the buggy glitches and bogus irrelevant adds. I highly recommend anyone who is serious with their gym life to get this app to keep track and progress through your gym life. I’m tired of always just doing my workouts from the top of my head and not having them set in their own group. Finally I have a place I can create my own workout group and put down all the exercises and reps in its own category. Forget doing bench, sitting around thinking and wasting time thinking of your next workout, giving up, and then doing squats or sit ups. I’m highly impressed with this apps’ ability to keep everything in its own category and still be simple and easy to use.
