It’s so heartwarming to find out that Charlie created this for his teacher wife. I absolutely love that it does full screen mode as a document camera on my iPhone. I do have a Yuuuge request: Would it be possible to create a version of this for the iOS 9.3.5 update? I would love to install it on old iPod touches that a colleague donated to me, but sadly the App Store says “Overviewer” is not compatible with this iPod. Our school just invested in large flatscreen tvs for us to screenshare for lessons and it would be a game changer to use these iPod touches as document cameras. ### 4/5 — Great for the simplicity *2022-02-04, version 1.2* I just discovered this app, and I love how simple the screen looks compared to using the camera app. I wish for the ability to set a focus point though. Sometimes during a writing demo the camera is focused on my finger rather than the paper. Otherwise it’s fabulous! J’ai donc téléchargé cette application dans l’espoir qu’elle répondrait à mon besoin. À mon plus grand étonnement, l’application fonctionne à merveille. En regardant le tutoriel, j’ai appris plusieurs petits trucs pour améliorer la qualité de la présentation en plus de savoir comment utiliser Overviewer lorsque j’ai besoin de faire une diffusion « live » sur Zoom. Im Gegenteil: Dort kann ich einen Foto machen und dieses Posten. Zudem funktionierte bei mir der ‚Drehen‘ Button nicht oder nur träge. Hab ich was verpasst? Wieso hat diese App positive Bewertungen? ### 1/5 — Button to change rotation/orientation not working *2023-02-28, version 1.3* Not able to rotate from landscape to portrait by using button in app or tilting iPad to change orientation like you would with the internal camera app. Have to force close app, ensure ipad is held in the orientation that you want the app to use, then reopen the app. ### 1/5 — Won’t work with Windows 10 *2022-12-28, version 1.3* I was very hopeful about this app but it doesn’t seem to work with Windows 10. Despite using a USB connection, it makes me use screen mirroring, downloads an applet each time I open it, then the video locks up. If I start over, it does the same thing. My friend has a Mac and loves it. If this is only for Mac, that should be indicated in the app description. ### 1/5 — Bleh *2021-05-25, version 1.2* This honestly feels worse than just using my camera as a doc cam. It still has the black bars on the side.....only way more pronounced when you’re in portrait. Meaning you can’t actually show a whole sheet of paper. Die Idee ebenso. Aber wenn ich das iPad an unser Smartboard anschließe und den Kindern etwas zeigen möchte zoome ich oft auf Aufgaben rein. Dann kann ich den Kameraausschnitt nicht mehr bewegen. Wenn ich mit dem Finger nach unten gehe, verändert sich das Bild am Smartboard nach links. I have used it for years and love this app dearly. I could not deliver the kind of interactive lessons I have for my subject without Overviewer. But this product does it in a plug n play way. My uses are to set up a 3rd generation iPad as a video source remotely on a public WiFi network on my ATEM via Apple TV’s HDMI setting.. I also connected to my iPhoe to an HDMI splitter wired in as a separate camera.
