The changeover wasn’t as straightforward as the nursery team were told it would be. My biggest issue with the app which brings the stars down is that as a parent you can’t sign accident forms on the app remotely, the staff have to chase you around at pickup and explain what happened in front of other parents, sometimes this isn’t always the same day as the incident happened because they forget. Please sort this Ovivio, you’re way behind parent zone on this front. ### 2/5 — Constantly logging me out *2026-04-09* Great app when it’s working but I’m logged out at least once a week and you don’t really notice until you get a call from nursery saying they’ve sent a message and you never got the notification. Not sure why I need a push notification and an email every time my child is dropped off either. ### 2/5 — Poor Development *2026-03-24* App constantly logs me out, then magic link email always go to junk. Message notifications sometimes appear, sometimes don’t. Messages themselves sometimes don’t appear on the thread until the app is force closed and restarted. Notifications about your child starting their day when you’ve just dropped them off are quite annoying, and you can’t turn off individual notification types! ### 3/5 — Helpful resource but clunky and no way to save down all content *2025-07-31* As a parent I really appreciate having this app but a huge miss is there’s no functionality to let me download all the content in an easy way. Such an important feature that’s lacking - I don’t lose all these photos & videos! ### 2/5 — Notifications of diary but not visible in app *2025-07-09* Getting notifications of diary updates but never do these updates show in the app directly. Only hours later when I’ve picked my kids up or just before I’m about to pick them up they’re visible. Concept is great! But needs improving. I’m not the only one experiencing this. Also my partner and tiger parents of the nursery state the same issue. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2025-04-01* Please allow biometric logins, the app constantly log users out, frustrating user experience. Great to see full screen photos but the back button hardly ever works due to it position on the screen making getting back to the text difficult. Only 2-4 hours later it appears visible in the app. I love the app the concept is amazing it gives some reinsurance about your kids, but it just doesn’t work to well :( ### 3/5 — Needs improvement, please update *2025-01-23* Concept is great! Functionality needs improvement, like others have said getting a notification and email about an updated diary. But nothing appears in the app until hours later after I’ve picked my child up. Well the notifications of this app are just as annoying. Yes I have checked out the diary entry, no I don’t wish to do it again. Oh look you’ve emailed me to get me to check the diary entry. Also, why after every update do I need to log in as if I’m new to the app? This is 2024 get FaceTime activated already. ### 1/5 — Very buggy and keeps logging me out *2024-05-14, version 2.16.4* This app frequently fails to load child updates (surely that’s it’s main function?!). Additionally it now seems to be duplicating days- eg todays update just came through but is an exact copy of yesterdays. So I’ve no idea what my child did today. Final bugbear is that it logs me out with every update they push- why? A few examples 1. The back buttons when you open a golden moment don’t work as they are right next to the clock and are impossible to use. They simply don’t work 2. The app does not update if you leave it “running” in the background. You get a message saying diary updated, you go to the app and it’s not and get stuck in limbo. You then have to close and restart 3. Feedback and support doesn’t work unless you have the default mail app installed. There is no way to send feedback without it. Hence the bugs in this review! ### 4/5 — Very good *2024-04-03, version 2.16.4* Very good app apart from the back button on the top left of the screen fails to work regularly ### 1/5 — Doesn’t update *2024-03-28, version 2.16.4* Doesn’t update. My partner gets the email updates as and when they are uploaded but the app doesn’t load anything until the end of the day! Pointless 🤷🏼‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Needs some work *2024-03-21* I get numerous notifications about child’s diary when there is nothing to view. Only one payment method allowed which is difficult for coparenting situations where the fee is split. ### 1/5 — Need to sign in every time *2024-02-21, version 2.16.3* It is an irritating app that asks me to share gen in every time when I open the app. Unfortunately we need to use the app as our nursery is using this app to provide update. Lots of parents also fed up with the issue. You have to set it up again through emails every time…. Waste of time ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible rebrand and bugs *2026-07-01* I only use this app because i have to as my nursery uses it. But it constantly logs me out so I stop getting updates. The rebranding is also terrible. Not sure what Ovivio even means but Blossom is a lot more friendly for kids and easier to find. I have to really try and remember what the app name is when I’m searching for it. Whoever did the rebrand clearly doesn’t know English or good user experience and Oviviviovovovoov or whatever it’s called is not a good name. ### 1/5 — Poor usability *2026-01-08, version 2.18.2* Very poor usability on photo albums: unclear how many total images there are if the number of exceeds ~20, unclear how far through the album you are when viewing images. ### 1/5 — Just Horrible to Use *2025-12-01* 1). The app does not have auto complete for when inputting emails and other details. Makes populating previously completed fields annoying when you inevitably have to log back in and retype your email address for the 100th time… 2). I am not 4 years old. I don’t need to be referred to with things like a magic link. This just reads in a condescending way 3). When messages are sent you have to close the app down, to then open it again to be able to view the message. 4). You need to get biometric validation for login. Much easier and let’s be honest, when you know you have a message from nursery and the app has kicked you out again, followed by annoying email input and condescending magic link option…..bio metric login would be a million times easier. Particularly when you have other kids to deal with 5). There is no reply / quote feature when responding to messages.
