### 2/5 — Was OK, until it Broke!

*2021-01-16, version 1.0.30*

This app did just enough, until the iOS 14 update. Now you cannot adjust or create times for schedules at all. There is currently NO WAY to make any changes to your schedules, and it been broken for MONTHS! Please FIX.

### 1/5 — Log in / Global click issue

*2020-09-27, version 1.0.30*

Update: Scheduling / Profile Issues

With latest firmware update and on iOS 14 when you attempt to update the times for any scheduling as you enter the time in you only get a blank. You can enter a time in blindingly but it doesn’t seem to go through. Deleted and reinstalled the app and still can’t edit a profile / schedule. I’m really disappointed because the idea is to be able to manage my kids device time during the day / night. Please fix ASAP!

Negative
Does no remember use / pass upon log in
Click for ovrc / router are not synchronized so if you program to turn off a device at 2am it may actually turn it off a 12:30am instead and you can’t edit or fix
Weird navigation on app. Not inspired or desired.

Positive
Hardware is very functional
If techy enough this does work for system reboot and troubleshooting

### 2/5 — App Broken

*2020-06-21, version 1.0.30*

The latest update has broken the app. Does not remember the users info and requires entering username/password each time the app is opened. Very annoying!

### 1/5 — So slow, I age faster

*2019-09-01, version 1.0.30*

It takes so long to unblock WiFi or block it that it sometimes doesn’t even work, it takes as long as 5 minutes just to open up the WiFi permission for my pc. Make it faster

### 1/5 — Not impressed - Behind the times application

*2019-06-20, version 1.0.30*

Just had it installed on Araknis system. Keeps freezing my iPhone and does not show me any control at all. Not keeping up with the times as far as user-friendliness. What a waste of over $10 K.

### 1/5 — Auto switch on/off keeps stopping

*2019-03-11*

Why does the auto on/off keep randomly stopping. Set up in a profile and works for awhile and then just stops

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2024-06-29, version 3.6.2*

don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Unable to login

*2024-04-26, version 3.6.1*

I created an online web account and it works fine. The app doesn’t even let me login with the same credentials.

### 1/5 — Do not fix anything

*2023-07-10, version 3.5.0*

Have a problem and they try one thing and give up. Cost a lot for no service

### 1/5 — 2 homes, one OVRC

*2022-11-15, version 3.0.0*

I have two homes with different integrators, both use OVRC. How can I create an instance of the app to allow me to see and manage both homes?

### 1/5 — Help

*2022-08-09, version 1.0.30*

Im trying to get help but when i click on app support it says “ requested url not found’? I need help? Please and dint know how to contact you ?

### 1/5 — Do not use!!!

*2021-12-24, version 1.0.30*

Worst app for iPhone. If you want to remain sane don’t ever use!!!!!

### 1/5 — Irritating app

*2021-10-01, version 1.0.30*

It is extremely irritating that this app makes you login every time you need to use it.

### 1/5 — Completely broken

*2021-09-08, version 1.0.30*

This app has not been updated for 3 years and it’s completely broken now. The device management page does not scroll down right only showing part of connected devices. The parental control is totally broken. I wonder if this company is going to bankruptcy otherwise why they don’t upgrade an app for their client who have spent a few thousand dollars on their hardwares?

### 1/5 — Do NOT purchase

*2020-12-22, version 1.0.30*

DO NOT PURCHASE if you are using an iPhone, iPad...you will need to login each time you use this APP. Very annoying!!!!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with new iOS

*2020-12-06, version 1.0.30*

Needs update fir iPhone

### 3/5 — Profile Pause not Working anymore

*2022-06-17, version 3.0.0*

So I noticed today that app icon changed and a UI update was performed. Now I can’t pause the WiFi for my profiles. It says it pauses but it doesn’t actually pause anything. There’s only two reasons I use this app and it’s to reset my network and pause profiles.

### 3/5 — Why are they tracking?

*2021-04-02, version 1.0.30*

The app seems to work fine but it bothers me that a app that needs no info on you is tracking what YouTube videos your watching - why do they need it?! Their an IT company for heavens sake!?

### 3/5 — It does the job, barely.

*2021-01-12, version 1.0.30*

This app has so much potential. It needs some love and updating. It is very glitchy, it could certainly use face-ID and the schedules don’t work properly. That said, I do like being able to assign every device to a “person” and I like being able to turn on and off wifi BY PERSON to all of their devices at the same time.

### 3/5 — Please give some love and make full screen

*2020-02-05, version 1.0.30*

Please give this app some love and make it fill the screens on the newer iPhones. It’s a great app but embarrassing to not have it full screen for my clients.

### 3/5 — Not Remembering Log In Credentials.

*2019-07-27, version 1.0.30*

My only complaint is that it’s not remembering my log in credentials. Every time I go to open the app I have to fill in my username and password and I check the box asking it to remember me. But doesn’t work.
But thankfully I don’t have to open this app up at all. Because the equipment running fixes itself by performing a power cycle.

### 2/5 — Very limited for the home owner!

*2022-04-01, version 1.0.30*

Where is the ability to name devices on the network? Where is the ability to turn devices on and off the network?
The screen that shows the devices is so glitchy! Where is the ability for the homeowner to update the firmware/software. Its too dependent upon the installer yet the homeowner owns the devices!

### 2/5 — Inconvenient convenience

*2021-09-13, version 1.0.30*

The app signs me out EVERY SINGLE TIME. Even after just a moment of having gotten out of the app (not even closing or killing it). I hate having to sign in everytime I need to reboot something.

It's also incredibly bothersome that the "Remember Me" check box doesn't work. It's never remembered me. Or anyone else that I'm aware of.

Do better OVRC. Your failures hurt your dealers, integrators, and brand.

### 2/5 — Please fix this app

*2021-04-09, version 1.0.30*

This app was one of the reasons I chose hardware by Araknis but it’s now severely broken and needs an update to work with the latest iOS. The app no longer allows manipulation of the times for the schedules so whenever schedules I had built in the past are set in stone and cannot be changed or added upon. I’ve asked my home automation provider to contact Araknis on multiple occasions but there’s still no fix to these problems. Araknis, please listen to your customers and fix this outdated app!

### 2/5 — Please Fix Auto Log Out

*2021-03-11, version 1.0.30*

I rely on this app to control internet in a house with young kids. So I want to be able to use this frequently - everyday. But the auto log out glitch is just so frustrating. Being able to keep the app open and just use it without having to log in would be a huge improvement. Without that functionality I can't rate it any higher.

### 2/5 — Needs to be fixed

*2021-02-25, version 1.0.30*

Cool app but you should make it so that when I select “remember me” it actually does that instead of logging me out every time I think that would be cool
