### 2/5 — Showing ovulation late

*2023-07-11, version 2.2.11*

Instead of showing ovulation window a week before .Today OvuSense Device showing ovulated 4 days past

### 4/5 — BEST app for unusual cycles and NFP

*2023-05-03*

I have had unusual cycles for my whole life, and when my husband and I were getting ready to get married, I needed a sensor that was *very* reliable. We aren’t ready for kids and we believe in using natural family planning. If you know anything about NFP you know that it’s virtually impossible to do with an unusual cycle unless you learn the tricks. Finding this sensor and this app was the best thing that ever happened to me. I remember the first month I used it I was so amazed to see it was able to track my ovulation so quickly. The app is easy to use and gives many options for logging. The charts are so easy to read and the app does 99% of the work for you. My only complaint is that syncing my sensor takes forever. I don’t know why but I have to try multiple times for up to 10 minutes some days. The other complaint is that their customer service is very difficult to reach. The only way I was able to get ahold of them was through Instagram. But overall, would highly recommend 10/10

### 3/5 — Stick to ovulation kits

*2023-04-17, version 2.2.10*

I’ve been tracking my cycles for over 6 months and it has yet to notify me when I’m ovulating. It just gives me the prediction and confirms ovulation a couple days later. I still need to use an ovulation kit to know when my LH is surging which defeats the purpose of using this device. Not worth the money.

### 3/5 — Not bad

*2022-12-07, version 2.2.9*

I’m glad I did found OvuSense 🤭

### 2/5 — Don’t bother

*2022-01-11, version 2.2.5*

The app is ok, but their algorithm for ovulation detection is at best flaky and something you can guess by yourself. Essentially just a 300£ thermometer. Disappointed.

### 3/5 — Just ok

*2021-11-15, version 2.2.4*

I’ve found the algorithm to be a bit off versus other apps like Fertility Friend. I actually got pregnant before it thought I ovulated (sadly it didn’t stick). It doesn’t seem to understand my cycle at all which is a shame.

### 3/5 — Not as accurate as they claim

*2021-07-23*

There are some things I absolutely love about the ovusense monitor. It’s very easy to use, if you wake up through the night like I do, it’s not affected by that, it’s very convenient and all of that, and I appreciate that. I also find that when I have an issue, I get a very fast response. However! There have been times where they absolutely have been wrong in their ovulation verification for me but they refused to budge or admit that they could be wrong, because they want to maintain their “high rating“. One month they claimed I didn’t ovulate at all, and I got pregnant that month. Several months they claimed I ovulated far after my temperature shift. This cycle they claimed I ovulated after my temperature rise, but I had an ultrasound and a progesterone test which proved that they were incorrect about their ovulation estimation. This is very frustrating because it’s hard to trust what they say. And because they want to maintain their high rating, none of them will ever admit that their estimate could be inaccurate. They will just send you and your chart to a “specialist“Who will always just verify the ovusense findings.

### 2/5 — Not working

*2021-06-03, version 2.1.9*

Due to technical issues I couldn’t clock in my BBT for 3 days. I am trying to get prego to so this is very important. No reimbursement just a sorry. Not happy

### 2/5 — Stopped working with no help from CS

*2021-04-29*

The device worked fine for the first couple months. Then it would take 15 tries to send data to my phone, and then would not connect at all for a few days at a time therefore my data wasn’t recorded and my entire months worth of data was inconclusive.

Customer support sent me an email saying to “follow these 10+ steps to troubleshoot” which I wasn’t going to do, like just send me a new device, I paid a lot of money for it and continue to pay a $30 subscription every month so that my data isn’t lost! I’m disappointed in their approach to solving my problem. It still doesn’t work and I finally canceled my subscription which is not simple either, of course.

### 4/5 — Useful for what it is designed for

*2021-04-26, version 2.1.9*

Ovusense is easy to use and very reliable. It helps you learn about your body temperature throughout your cycle and it is very useful specially if you have PCOS. However, I do take notes of different variables and I feel Ovusense app would be better if it allowed you to manually track other symptoms, as well as your CM and OPK results.

### 5/5 — Pregnant with PCOS

*2021-04-21, version 2.1.9*

My cycles were incredibly long and as much as I was testing with OPKs, I was never getting positives. Within two months of purchasing OvuSense, I ovulated and surprisingly got pregnant quickly. I am beyond grateful and cannot wait to use OvuSense again after I give birth! Even in the short amount of time I used the device, I learned so much about my cycle. Thank you OvuSense.

Oh, and their customer service is AMAZING!!!

### 5/5 — Perfect for pcos

*2021-01-24, version 2.1.8*

I never know when I ovulate due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos). Last cycle not only did ovulate, I got pregnant and now have a beautiful baby boy!!! I am back again to keep track of cycles, love it so much. Worth every penny spent. I’ve had OvuSense about a year and a half.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-01-11, version 2.1.7*

Brilliant tool

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stressful

*2022-09-07, version 2.2.7*

Find it very stressful trying to get the sensor to down load the data every morning. Have tried all the trouble shooting as suggested and it still only works after about 10 attempts or 10/20 minutes of trying as to no clue what I did different.

### 1/5 — Dishonest company

*2022-05-17, version 2.2.6*

Start’s subscription at time of purchase, so already 1.5 weeks wasted of subscription. Have to take phone apart to have a daily struggle getting device to work. Can’t return defective product. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — Scam - Do Not Buy!!!!

*2022-03-12, version 2.2.6*

I ordered the OvuSense sensor and it doesn’t work. It worked for two nights of reading my temperature and then it stopped connecting to the app, and the company won’t replace the sensor. They send me generic “Help Connecting Your Sensor” content which doesn’t resolve the issue. They won’t refund my purchase or send me a replacement device.

### 1/5 — Unhappy

*2022-02-23, version 2.2.6*

The product itself is great and works well it’s the company behind it that is a real pain to work with I emailed them a month ago and asked them to cancel my subscription since I had gotten pregnant after my first month using my ovucore and they never canceled my subscription so now I’ve paid $70 even tho I’m not using my product I’m very unhappy

### 1/5 — Might be great….

*2021-07-31, version 2.2.2*

….but hardly ever managed to get it to download the data to my phone. When it did it took the best part of an hour and could never get it to do enough days in a row to actual find any kind of pattern, which meant it was pretty much useless.

### 1/5 — Hard to use, horrendous customer service

*2021-06-22, version 2.2.1*

I have a brand new iPhone and the dongle does not easily connect to the app. I have to take off my case and tap it dozens of time every morning. After 13 emails with support they sent a replacement but the connectivity is just as poor. It’s annoying and frustrating.

You also have to pay $35 EVERY MONTH to use it.

They also will not offer you your money back as promised.

Mine “expired” abruptly after 52 days. I received no warning my “subscription” was ending until I tried to upload data and was denied. By the time customer service got back to me, I had lost 2 days, but to get a refund I had to pay another $70 and so it for 47 more days, at which time they can dent my claim bc you cannot miss a single night in the 90 days to get a refund.

The customer service team just sends autoresponses and doesn’t care at all.

It’s a nice alternative to oral thermometers in theory.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2021-01-29, version 2.1.8*

Not user friendly. You have no control over the app or data and technical support takes too long to help when you only have 2 hours to download data. Many people have issues with sensors. Don’t waste your time or money.

### 1/5 — Probably one of the worst devices I have ever used

*2020-12-01*

Probably one of the worst fertility devices I have used so far. First and foremost, it is SO inconvenient to use. Putting it inside every single night is just not realistic, so you end up missing a night here and there which then drops the accuracy rate from over 90% to below 80% percent, so at this point you might as well just measure with a thermometer which is WAY cheaper. Not to mention how it’s kind of gross that you have to tap your phone on it. Secondly, you have to pay a subscription???? For what??? It’s already $200 which is outrageous just for the device, on top you must subscribe.... NO. Definitely not renewing mine. Third, customer service is awful! The device is God and nothing else matters... it’s right no matter what... doctors know nothing apparently, blood tests are wrong ONLY ovusense is right... Fourth, there are way better devices out there that can give you a way more complete picture of your fertility, think about combining Mira with a thermometer or Ava bracelet and getting some blood hormone work done. And Lastly, it takes me about 15 min of tapping my phone on it every morning to connect it. Worst device I ever used!

### 1/5 — Money grab

*2020-11-17, version 2.1.7*

They’ll make you resubscribe and buy another “device” every year. Don’t do it. Do the research and find a company that cares about the person and the reasons why someone would buy this product. Not a company that will use your desperation to take your money. Again and again.

### 1/5 — Not great

*2020-10-27, version 2.1.6*

For how expensive the product is it does not work well. The app is not well designed. It is very basic and does not offer a lot of information like other apps do. It is also very hard to scan in data. I have had to contact support to ask how to fix this or make easier and they offered no aid. Trying it one more month but I am not pleased at all with this product

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — OvuSense is Amazing!

*2025-05-28, version 2.3.2*

OvuSense is amazing, especially for women with PCOS. It helped me get pregnant twice! I definitely wouldn’t have caught my super late ovulation without it. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting more insight on their cycle.

### 5/5 — Pcos and 2 baby boys!

*2024-11-01*

I had struggled my entire life with PCOS. 10 years of fertility help, no periods and no luck getting pregnant! 6 cycles and BOOM there it was. I ovulated and sure enough I had my first son who is now almost 6 years old. After my son I continued to use Ovusense and became pregnancies once again. Unfortunately after my first son I had three miscarriages. I didn’t lose faith because I knew I ovulated but my body wasn’t ready. Cycle 29 was a completely different story. I know have a second amazing and adventurous little 1 year old. I still continue to use the sensor in cycle 37 now. I’m looking for one more baby. Pinpointing exactly when you ovulated has helped. You have to wear it ritually so it understands YOUR BODY.

### 5/5 — It worked with PCOS

*2024-07-31*

In 2017 I was diagnosed with PCOS. In 2019 after my first miscarriage, I tried for 5 years to get pregnant! My husband and I went through two rounds of IVF one ended in a miscarriage and the other didn’t stick. I bought OveSense and found out I ovulated 56 days after my period and we got pregnant on the first try! This device is comfortable and easy to use. I never had a problem with the app and it was easy to understand. Best wishes to everyone on their journey!

### 5/5 — Pregnant after 1st month!

*2022-06-23, version 2.2.6*

I have PCOS and have struggled with years of infertility. The first month of using this, I conceived. I cannot believe it!

### 5/5 — Love!!!

*2022-02-25, version 2.2.6*

I love it! Works so well and help me understand my cycle

### 5/5 — Easy to use, totally recommend!

*2021-11-03*

I have never been able to use regular BBT thermometers. Night shift nurse problems. OvuSense Core is so easy to use. Just insert before bed, takes your temp every 5 minutes. Wake up, take it out, clean it, download information to the phone. Bam! So easy. Love learning about my body. Def more accurate than a regular thermometer or wearable. When my sensor malfunctioned, the OvuSense team responded to me within an hr and sent me out a new sensor. Great company who cares about their users. Speaks a lot in my book. The app is easy to use, and love seeing my temps everyday. Thank you OvuSense!

### 5/5 — Review

*2021-09-23, version 2.2.3*

Ovusense is the best for tracking of ovulation during your cycle,I used it and it worked for me in my third cycle .I got the value for my money spent. Thanks to the great mind behind this beautiful technology

### 5/5 — Most accurate out there!

*2021-09-02, version 2.2.3*

If you are considering buying ovusense - don’t hesitate - do it now! It helped me to identify that I have a luteal phase issue and need progesterone support to conceive. I would never have known this without OvuSense and would have spent the next however many years trying to conceive without success. I am now 7 months pregnant! Amazing, friendly customer support team and I also had a free nurse consultation included with my 12 month starter kit, she went through my chart thoroughly and gave me some great tips on health/lifestyle changes tailored to my progesterone problem. I definitely recommend!

### 5/5 — Last 3 months of awful technical support

*2021-08-15, version 2.2.3*

The customer service is a joke

You can’t speak to anyone and for the last 3 months they have taken my money but I have to message for them to renew my subscription which then can take up to 2 days which can cause issues with my data.

3rd month in a row this has happened - not happy

### 5/5 — Pregnant at 37 after one cycle with OvuSense

*2021-05-21, version 2.1.9*

I bought an OvuSense after trying to conceive our 2nd child since July 2020.

We had previously been using ovulation kits and tracking BBT and sadly nothing happened in 8 months.

We used OvuSense for one cycle and we are pregnant! This is also the same cycle that we registered at a Fertility Clinic and we were able to start treatment!

I really recommend OvuSense for accurate temperature tracking and ovulation predictions!

Thank you very much - definitely money well spent 😊✨
