Yeah it’s really bad. Not a very good printer. I used to really like Epson, not anymore? This is the ET 2050. ### 1/5 — Incorrect results on my sandisk 4TB drive *2025-09-05* Way low results ### 1/5 — Völlig daneben *2024-09-20, version 1.0.2* Hat am M4 iPad Pro eine HDD mit halbem Durchsatz bewertet (37MB/s) und dann eine NVMe mit 7MB/s. Völlig sinnfrei. Die HDD könnte aufgrund APFS encrypted vielleicht sogar stimmen, aber die NVMe spuckt am Surface Pro mit dem Kabel mehr als 900 MB/s aus. Wenn ich die Daten lese, Fotos und Videos betrachte, dann ist die NVMe via USB-C genau so flüssig wie der interne RAM, wogegen die HDD natürlich spürbare Ladezeiten hat. ### 1/5 — App Crasht das komplette iPhone *2024-05-03, version 1.0.2* Nach dem Start des Tests dauert es ein Paar Sekunden, dann bleibt der Fortschritt stehen und die App stürzt ab. Totaler Müll. ### 5/5 — Great app and the simplest way to test your external SSD/Flash drive *2024-03-16* For those who wish to use the iPhone 15 Pro Max for writing to external storage, particularly when recording in the highest quality format—60 frames per second in 4K with Apple ProRes—you must use this application. It's the only method to determine if your external SSD is sufficiently capable. Additionally, ensure that your external SSD is formatted in the Apple File System (APFS) format, with a GUID Partition Map as your partition scheme. Failing to do so could result in dropped frames in your footage, which can be extremely frustrating. Also, make sure you choose the right format for testing: ProRes 422 HQ in 4K. ### 5/5 — This is an Excellent disk speed test program! *2024-01-11* I am not a photographer expert but this OWC app has a intuitive interface layout. Onnce you open the app choose your external drive iPhone/browse/ pick your drive. Choose your settings: Format = H.264, HEVC and 4 ProRes modes Frames= 25,30,60 or max Duration= 1,5,15,30 minutes or 1hr *Requires Approximately xxx MB or GB* *TIP* When you select your settings above at the very bottom it will state the amount of disk space you need for the test. ### 5/5 — Straightforward, well-conceived app needs ProRes support *2023-12-19* Straightforward, well-conceived app needs ProRes support. My iPad Air (March 2022, M1) supports the Apple ProRes video codecs, with LumaFusion, DaVinci Resolve and Blackmagic Camera apps. We really should be able to test suitability of the internal storage and external drives for each version of ProRes. ### 5/5 — Perfect for proper iOS drive speed recording! *2023-11-10* For those who want to shoot directly to external media from the iPhone 15 pro, this is the missing link! Direct to external media requires perfect and predictable transfer speeds; a feat many manufacturers who claim to be premium sorely lack. If you’re using your iPhone for real work, don’t use external media before using Drive Speed first. Also, do yourself a favor and try OWC’s storage media for capture. It is, without question, the best. ### 4/5 — very good… *2023-11-07, version 1.0.2* really nice little tool to check if a SSD or Flash-drive or even SD Card/SD Card reader works for ProRes or HEVC even not OWC drives. It’s good to have all ProRes “flavors”.
