## What is Owesy?

Have you ever gone away for the weekend with friends where everyone has paid different amounts – one person paid for the car rental, someone paid for the groceries, etc. – and then at the end of the weekend you're all trying to figure out who owes who what in order to settle evenly among everyone?

Or did you go to dinner with friends and everyone is trying to figure out how much to put down and tip based on what they ordered?

Owesy can do these two types of calculations with fast and easy inputs from you:

1. Complicated group tabs where everyone's paid amounts are meant to be split evenly by the group. Just enter everyone's names and amounts paid (you can add multiple amounts per person) and see who owes who what to settle evenly. Does this in the least number of transactions, no big! There are awards too ;)

2. Restaurant tipping. Quickly put in the bill's details and how much you're tipping and voila! The suggested way to pay appears.

I love this app! It’s so easy to use, beautifully and cleanly designed, and eliminates the tedious “oh, well I got avocado on my sandwich, so I’ll add 3 to my order then factor that into my portion of the sales tax, but also I got the Uber so blah blah” stuff that no one wants to deal with! The “awards” and “copy to clipboard” additions are wonderful cherries on top.
