For SMB especially it’s the best app I’ve tried and will be continuing to use it unless an update ruins everything. It does very well with media thumbnails, caching, and viewing both images and videos. The connection types are flexible and it seems solid compared to the competition.

Some of the micro-interactions could be improved, like when zooming, swiping, and such.

特に大きめの画像をいろいろ閲覧しているとだんだん動作が重くなってきて最終的には画面が固まってアプリがクラッシュする。第9世代iPadを使っているので確かにメモリは少ないが、アプリ側で適切にメモリ管理されていれば問題ないはず。
動画プレイヤーについて、デコードがHW+よりもHWの方がシークしたとき速く読み込まれる気がするのでなるべくHWを使いたいのだが、何回かシークしていると動画が固まって再生されなくなることがある。こうなるともう一度動画を開き直さないと再生できない。HW+ではこの問題が起きないが先述の通りHWよりもシークが遅い。
機能の要望としてはYouTubeみたいに、再生したことのある動画ファイルにはサムネイルの下などに再生した位置までのバーなどが表示されると助かります。

Instructions say to go to the folder you want to transfer a file from and press Select, so on. Issue is, this only works with files already inside of the green folders that are specific to Owlfiles. If you try to transfer any file from On My iPad, this launches a pop of the native Files app, which does not have this Select option as the User Guide suggests. The missing step is that you have to first copy the file to the aforementioned green Ownfiles folder and then you’ll be able to follow along with the instructions from the User Guide. Personally, I find it best to just start with the native Files app and then Open In to Owlfiles. This is how I was doing it with the developer’s previous FTP app. Which I should have just stuck with, but I followed the suggested pop up to try Ownfiles when I launch their FTP app. This whole process, including having to make sense of what wrong and writing this review has been a waste of time. All I wanted to do was send 1 tiny file which should have taken less than a minute. If the devs aren’t able to browse the iPad’s file system without using the Files pop up, then please consider updating your User Guide to more accurately reflect the process of transferring files that aren’t already located in the green Ownfiles folder.

Ich habe Owlfiles wegen der kontinuierlichen Backup-Funktion gekauft und diese funktioniert super. Ansonsten finde ich die Bedienung etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Was ich sonst an Funktionen gebraucht habe, funktionierte bis jetzt aber trotzdem immer problemlos.

Hello.

Please add the ability to navigate to a folder while playing music from the player window.

There's no way to set a playlist repeat or repeat a song using a separate button, nor is there a separate shuffle button.

If I open another track while music is playing, a window constantly pops up. It's annoying. I'd rather have the playback window always minimized and only open when I close it completely.

When playing a music file, there's no way to view its properties. This can only be done while in the directory (folder) containing the files.

This makes it very inconvenient to have to re-enter the directory every time I accidentally exit.

Please add the ability to skip forward/backward 10 seconds by swiping left/right.

When using the WEBDAW protocol over a cellular connection, the program performs poorly when downloading large files. I tried downloading a 7.5 GB file, but the process eventually stalled and the app showed the file had downloaded, but it actually didn't even reach one GB.

Add the ability to control the app with swipes.


Добрый день 

Добавьте пожалуйста возможность перехода к папке во время воспроизведения музыки из окна проигрывателя.

Нет возможности установить повтор плейлиста или повтор песни отдельной кнопкой, нет отдельно кнопки перемешивания. 

Если во время воспроизведения музыки открыть другой трек, то постоянно выскакивает окно, это мешает, пусть лучше окно воспроведения будет всегда свернуто и только когда я сам его полностью закрою, можно чтобы оно открывалось. 

При воспроизведении файла музыки нет возможности просмотреть его свойства, это возможно сделать только находясь в самом каталоге (папке) с файлами. 

Так получается очень не удобно каждый раз снова заходить в каталог при случайном выходе. 
Сделайте пожалуйста возможность промотать музыку на 10 секунд вперед/назад свайпоми влево/право

При работе с протоколом WEBDAW при подключении через сотовую связь, программа плохо работает, при загрузке больших файлов. Пробовал скачать файл размером 7.5 гигабайт, но в итоге процесс останавливается и программа показывает, что файл загружен, но на самом деле не доходит и до одного гигабайта. 

Добавьте возможность в целом управлять приложением свайпами.

As I’ve already stated, the issue isn’t what I need to do differently, it’s that you need to update your User Guide to more accurately reflect the process. And I’ve also already stated that I figured out how to upload files upload files via FTP despite the inaccurate User Guide. It’s as if you ignored everything that I took the time to explain in my review. This is now wasting end user’s time over and over again. I’ve now lowered my rating to 1 star. What should have been a 30 second process to upload a tiny file, you’ve now turned into a major time suck. Get it together, guys.

Rock solid fundamentals and pleasant to use for years.  The last upgrade added a bunch of ‘upgrade to pro’ nonsense and buttons.  I hope everything is okay with the developer because it looks like they suddenly need more money.  Back to Documents by readle (sp) I guess.

With a WiFi sharing time capsule, I don’t need huge storage for my iPhone, iPad or MacBook Air, all of which are under 64g storage. My iPhone and ipad access the media files in time capsule using this app, which is really useful. 5 stars, no brainer.
