## What is owllet?

Owllet is a flexible budget planner and expense tracker that helps you understand your money, control spending, and build a personal finance system that fits the way you think.

Track expenses, income, accounts, categories, budgets, recurring transactions, balances, and cash flow in a clean, customizable app designed for everyday money management.

Owllet is more than a standard budgeting app. Shape the experience around your own routine: customize the main menu, adjust the full color theme, and choose what appears on your Dashboard. Keep the information you care about in front of you, including monthly spending, income, expense categories, account balances, recent transactions, budgets, and recurring payments.

Create separate workspaces for different budgets or areas of your finances. Choose Easy mode for straightforward expense tracking or Power mode for access to the complete feature set.

Your data stays on your device by default. When you choose, you can enable private iCloud sync for all or selected workspaces, create manual or automatic iCloud backups, and restore your data when needed. You can also invite another iCloud user to a workspace and keep accounts, categories, transactions, and recurring items synchronized.

Subcategories can also be moved between main categories, while improved list behavior keeps your position after reordering. Dashboard block reordering has been refined as well.
• New accounts and categories can be created directly while adding a transaction and are selected automatically after saving.
• Dashboard and Statistics category breakdowns now include an “Other” segment, ensuring smaller and uncategorized expenses are represented and available for detailed review.
• Demo data now covers a full year. This update also fixes edited recurring schedule dates and improves workspace handling across iCloud sync, sharing, deletion and backup restoration, preventing unwanted empty workspaces and setup prompts.
