### 2/5 — Really an irritation

*2026-09-07, version 2.0.6*

The device is a great idea, but I have several problems with it. First is that WAY more than half the time I cannot get it to do my body readings. It will only do my weight and then it says goodbye. The pull bar that you have to put your fingers on to get your body readings does not retract smoothly back into the device. I’m not sure if that’s by design, but I can see it eventually becoming a problem as that part of it wears down. When I step off of it, it has a tendency to rock to one side and I’m not a very big person. That is disturbing because it will thump as it goes back to the ground. Additionally, I have to remember to turn the app on and login before I step on the device. At first, I didn’t realize that so I lost several weeks worth of readings because I didn’t know that the app had to be literally opened first. Not sure if there is a way to have it always accessible or if I just have to remember not to close the app. Another thing is that the muscle readings and the water or hydration readings, parallel, each other and it finally occurred to me that that is because muscle is mostly water. So if I’m dehydrated, my muscles will be dehydrated as well.. My bone content/weight changes a bit from day-to-day or from reading to reading and that confuses me because bone is not really all that malleable in terms of its density- not from one day to the next.

### 3/5 — Incorrectly Mapped Values

*2026-09-04, version 2.0.6*

This app is consistently recording pulse value as diastole and diastole value displayed on the device as pulse. While the app usage is easier and is connectivity with the device is quick, the values it records is misleading. I’m now concerned which one is correct - the app or the device ?

### 3/5 — Weak at Family support in Apple ecosystem

*2026-08-29, version 2.0.6*

I upped my rating to a 3

As long as family member swipes away the app after using the scale, support for a household is ok.

The scale does not sync Lean Body Mass to Apple HealthKit.

The marketing materials have a brief mention of intelligence for multiple people in a household, but we have not found anything to support this. I am sure sharing a device with multiple clients over Bluetooth is hard if not impossible. WiFi is probably easier in this regard. If multiple members of a household have the app open and are within Bluetooth range, connecting the scale to the phone of the person using the scale is problematic.

Following is based on initial impressions when I gave the app a 1…the above comment the appropriate review. I should have done more trial and error testing before writing the following review.

The developers of this app are lazy. I think we can all agree that every member of a household, who would be using an Oxiline device, has their own iPhone and iCloud account. This means each household member has their own health data, which they view through the Health app.

The Oxiline Scale MD Pro can only pair to a single iPhone/iPad. How do members of a household get their scale readings into their Health app?

Even if each member of a household shares a single Oxiline login, there doesn’t appear to be a way to create user profiles within a single Oxiline login. The email address, password, and person details all seem tied together.

I had hoped to share the Oxiline login credentials via Family share in the Password app. Of course, this means no Google or Apple login. With each person logged into the same Oxiline account on their own iPhone, I was expecting each person to be able to sync their profile’s data with Health on their iPhone. There is still complexity in getting all the scale measurements onto the one paired iPhone and back to Oxiline’s servers. I have not found any mention of how many readings the scale will store between paired phone connections.

The device might be ok, but the software is a dumpster fire.

### 2/5 — Awful Report

*2026-08-27, version 2.0.6*

The report layout was recently changed and is awfully full of useless maps and trends. Readings are at the very end of the page. It is overly complicated. Before I could run a report and give it to my doctor. Now I can’t even tell him where to look. Please put it back or add a simplified report

### 4/5 — I love the app!

*2026-08-24, version 2.0.6*

I like this app a lot! I like seeing how my body composition changes. When there was a glitch and the app wasn’t working for a while I suffered but as soon as I notified the app team it was fixed super fast. Only gripe….can we have more than 6 chart metrics please??!!! I remember when I first got my scale and it seemed like I could measure everything on the home screen. Can we get maybe 10 chart metrics!? Please!😁😁

### 4/5 — Graph Improvement

*2026-08-20, version 2.0.6*

The graph really needs to be updated. Currently you really can’t see any trend on the first of every month or week as you can’t compare them to the previous. Instead of fixing the y axis to start of week or start of month, you should be able to scroll and zoom in/out for a flexible date range

### 3/5 — Scale connectivity

*2026-08-08, version 2.0.5*

The readings only come through about one out of every five times. Incredibly disappointed on not getting this more easily.

### 3/5 — Trophy appears incorrectly

*2026-08-05, version 2.0.5*

For some weird reason a trophy appears after the weight as if I met my goal weight but I have not. I called support but they have no idea why it’s appearing

### 4/5 — Graph Improvement

*2026-08-04, version 2.0.5*

The graph really needs to be updated. Currently you really can’t see any trend on the first of every month or week as you can’t compare them to the previous. Instead of fixing the y axis to start of week or start of month, you should be able to scroll and zoom in/out for a flexible date range

### 4/5 — Data Log

*2026-07-29, version 2.0.5*

Love the Program and meter. But when the blue tooth synchronize's it creates a duplicate of entries. Ever time. Four and five of the same reading. Other than that I love it keep up the good work.

### 2/5 — Too many errors

*2026-07-26, version 2.0.5*

I’ve been happy with the scale until it kept getting errors. It was very frustrating to not get readings. It seems to be better now but not happy with the overall quality.

### 1/5 — Limited plotting options

*2026-07-25, version 2.0.5*

Only 6 metrics can be seen over time with the Scale MD Pro, all other metrics can only be seen one at a time by clicking individual measurements. I’d like to be able to see muscle mass over time along with the segmental analysis metrics over time.

### 1/5 — Second scale still not working

*2026-07-25, version 2.0.5*

Received replacement scale and have attempted to set up again with same issues. First scale was not holding a charge. Appears this one is having the same issues. Don’t think I want to try a third scale.

### 3/5 — Torn

*2026-07-24, version 2.0.5*

I very much love the device when it works . However, I am having continual problems sonce day 1 - and now many months in getting my Oxline to stay connected to my phone and report my details. I reset constantly when needed. The scale will run through the entire process and when it gets to the end, promptly say that the data was not recorded.
Sometimes I’ll do it five times in a row…. And every once in a while it actually does work. I’ve got an iPhone 15 and am fairly tech savvy, so I don’t think it’s user error.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2026-07-23, version 2.0.5*

Doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Expensive & Unreliable

*2026-07-21, version 2.0.5*

The app fails to reliable measure anything. The scale and app stopped working and I can’t get a customer service response. Overpriced paperweight and app combo

### 1/5 — Haven’t even used yet.

*2026-07-21, version 2.0.5*

I have yet to even use the app and it’s already requesting a review. So at this point one star.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Charting Features Eliminated

*2026-08-23, version 2.0.6*

The Oxiline App eliminated many of their charting features so that you cannot get graphs showing many different metrics that the app used to report historically related to scale data.

### 1/5 — Fails at Family support in Apple ecosystem

*2026-08-21, version 2.0.6*

The developers of this app are lazy. I think we can all agree that every member of a household, who would be using an Oxiline device, has their own iPhone and iCloud account. This means each household member has their own health data, which they view through the Health app.

The device might be ok, but the software is a dumpster fire.

### 1/5 — Set up

*2026-08-17, version 2.0.5*

I ordered this wrist cuff as it is said to be the most accurate. The initial set up is impossible on the device and one must use the app, sync it for date and time, then it wipes all the memory. Not happy about this.

### 1/5 — Reading failed.

*2026-08-16, version 2.0.5*

I do want to live this scale but it fails giving me readings 9/10 times!! So frustrating. Every time I use it, I’m back to square one in the set up.

### 1/5 — Horrible Product

*2026-08-15, version 2.0.5*

Don’t waste your money. I went back to using my scale. The Oxiline rarely works. I would have to call and chat will a representative to problem solve it to actually work. If I step off and try for another reading later such as after hanging up the phone It will not work.

### 1/5 — Body composition fail

*2026-08-15, version 2.0.5*

Continuously fails to give reading for body composition. Will only give weight

### 1/5 — Scale stopped reading

*2026-08-12, version 2.0.5*

I bought this scale less than a month ago to compare with the Hume scale. The Hume is working just fine and this scale fails to read body composition. I have even wetted my feet and hand to see if that would help
Nothing

### 1/5 — Terrible Scale, Bad App

*2026-08-01, version 2.0.5*

I have several body composition analyzers and take multiple measurements with my scales over a week. I cannot get the Oxiline scale to produce readings. Even when I do manage to get a reading after multiple attempts, half the time the reading is lost to a glitch. Given the expense of the Oxiline, I would definitely recommend another scale. It just doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2026-08-01, version 2.0.5*

When it works it’s just ok. But periodically it will erase all your history and you can’t get it back.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-07-31, version 2.0.5*

Unfortunately this app uses Bluetooth to connect to the scale and it’s very unreliable. I have been in contact with their support team, who were helpful in the beginning, and have tried all their suggestions to get the app and the scale to connect for a full body scan. I responded on Monday to an email, and support has ghosted me since. It is now Thursday and I’ve had no indication that the company will get back to me. I’d avoid this device and app until they can provide a working system to all its users.
When it works, it’s great. Provides tracking on a number of stats. Unfortunately since the app can’t connect reliably, it’s useless.

*2026-05-15, version 2.0.3*
