I’d be grumpy as this applies more to life on Rottenest. Not saying BOM APP is better but one can pinch the image on BOM and be able to see speed of movement of weather fronts or heat resistance lows (my mental words of certain weather patterns) Can you please offer us ENOUGH of a map to be able to “”READ”” the approaching weather of what is approaching the coast of Western Australia AND AT WHAT SPEED?!?!? By example when I was living in YALGOO For 20 years and Esperance for 20 years I would be able to ID type and speed of approaching weather!!! Simply because geographically there is enough “map” to read. Since I NOW live in Perth versus Kalgoorlie or adelaide hills (born in Strathalbyn SA) or even better in farmland & mining regions of East coast Victoria and New South Wales ——you offer them days of approaching weather patterns!! In perth one can wake up at any hour and POW it’s arrived OR WORSE passed over. My dearest friends own a million acres in SW of QLD even they can predict as much as you are since one can your maps with enough lead time.! In Perth and all coastal regions of Western Australia as you awake POW it’s not a prediction for preparation it’s there ON TOP OF YOU! Can you give us some MORE map to at least demonstrate you are pretending to offer the “whole state” predictors- instead of open your eyes anywhere in Perth regions and it’s not a prediction it’s ON TOP OF YOU or worse past?!?!?! Same same from Perth WA to the coastal areas of Hobart, Sydney etc etc Stop pretending to offer “predictions” when it’s actually overhead.?!?! I’ve just purchased the full version and the tiles are a good way of having multiple views of the same place or creating an extended map around your location. I’ve noticed there’s a few bugs when moving down the menu structure and the app has crashed once or twice while I was configuring. A big concern is data privacy and security and I trust the developer will address this issue as soon as possible. Noting the last version upgrade of the software was a long time ago. Overall, I’m giving this app 4 stars based on my consistent 4 - 5 times a day use of Oz Radar lite and my limited use of the paid app. If the paid app is anything like the lite, it will continue to be my go-to weather radar app. ### 4/5 — My go-to app *2017-10-08, version 4.49* My go-to weather app for several years. Melbourne radar station was recently upgraded by BOM so it went offline for some weeks in Sep/Oct 2017 so some issues with all weather apps in Melb.
