It’s hard to find restaurants and wouldn’t work with Apple Pay for me. If I owned a business I would switch to a different service. ### 2/5 — Tracking *2025-03-19, version 3.0.0* Keeps asking for “tracking access”, whatever that means. I went into my settings for the app and everything is turned on, so I’m not sure what they’re after. ### 2/5 — Poor app *2024-04-25, version 3.0.0* The app is slow and it would not recognise my discount code. The store only takes online orders through the app. Terrible. No option for paying cash, both credit cards and debit card have 1.99% surcharge, other pay options is PayPal but 2.99% surcharge ( is it legal in Australia??) not only that they round up the figures to the next digit for example I bought food for 54.45AUD plus 1.99% surcharge for credit card- on the final payment option it’s 56AUD don’t know why . Something is not right ### 1/5 — Cannot find restaurants available on web service *2024-02-01, version 3.0.0* A Restaurant I like recommends this as there booking provider. So I say yep go through download and attempt to place an order and the restaurant is not even visible within the app? Why is it available in a web hook format but not within the app .. this is very poor UX ### 2/5 — Restaurant could not contact OzFoodHunter *2023-12-28, version 2.9.9* I ordered through OFH, got a confirmation then went to collect my order, only to find they did not have ingredients for a course so it could not be made. The restaurant was great and quickly prepared something else. But they had tried to get my number so they could call me to fix the problem, but they couldn’t contact OFH! So they couldn’t contact me. If the full end-to-end service is not supported, I cannot rate the app well. 😔 ### 1/5 — No reason to require tracking *2023-12-09, version 2.9.9* There is no valid reason why the app requires tracking across other apps and websites- location yes, but other than that no. I will never use a busy who does that. RUDE ### 1/5 — Terrible app - business never received order *2023-11-16, version 2.9.9* Arrived to pick up my dinner from the business who were 3 minutes from closing and they had never received my order. Thankfully the owner was lovely and still made it as nothing else was open and I’d ordered 30 minutes prior. Try to delete the account online, wasn’t allowed. Called to cancelled, they couldn’t find my account and told me to call back. Never received the call. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrendous *2026-07-05, version 3.0.6* Unavoidable 4% payment processing fee, location requested at all times, and an interface straight out of the 90s. I only used the app because their website is so busted the “add to order” button doesn’t work. Shoestring budget operation, go direct to the restaurant instead. ### 1/5 — Worst food delivery app *2026-05-22, version 3.0.6* What an absolute disaster. Between the exorbitant $26 delivery fee and an app interface that feels like it’s straight out of the 90s, the experience was poor from the start. To make matters worse, my order never arrived. When I requested a refund, they shortchanged me by $1.32, and despite their confirmation email stating it would be processed immediately, I’ve had to chase them repeatedly. Even after multiple calls and emails, I’m still waiting for my money. The app kept wanting to turn tracking on and few seconds, it kept reloading and couldn’t find the resturaunt I was ordering from in the browser. The app clearly displayed the restaurant’s menu and options. Ordering was simple, and I got a sign up discount. The process worked seamlessly, and my pizza was ready on the dot. My only reservation is that the app tells me it requires tracking access, but I don’t see why and haven’t allowed that.
