I can’t download any new sleep or alarm sounds (merely hit the preview play button) and it takes an engineering degree in rocket science to even figure out to select your sleep sound. Both times I have “stumbled” upon it and can’t remember which direction to the magic mystery doorway that I stumbled through. I’ve not tried customer support. It’s set to sensor, I begin listening to my podcast and fall fast asleep and it takes over with the sleep sound perfectly and plays all night…it’s just not a sound I want to listen to night after night. I like variety! And this morning I woke before the alarm but can I find where to turn that off? Vekk no. This app needs a LOT of work. It is useless! ### 2/5 — Updated UI is impossible *2026-08-14, version 2.62.2* Since the UI was updated the modes are impossible to understand, and for me at least it has resulted in the loss of useful functionality since I can no longer get the sleep bugs to switch from playing audio book to playing a making sound when it detects I’ve fallen asleep. I think that mode is supposed to be there, but it’s no longer working like it used to. You get lost figuring out which menu has your downloaded tracks. You can only control volume from within the app - not the side buttons. The app is the enemy of intuitive use for people who are trying to get to or go back to sleep. ### 2/5 — Misery *2026-07-14, version 1.53.3* Bought two pairs because I heard great things. Neither pair have ever worked consistently. They say fully charged but don’t make it through a single night. When they bust (disconnect, go intermittent), then it is miserable on my sleep because I am awake and have to turn on the light to try and get them reconnected or rebooted! It’s really miserable. The blinking lights are not intuitive. Should be a color like green or red if they are working or not. Have tried working with company support. Zero fixes. $500 for ineffective sleep device and frustration. With no guarantee that I know of. I keep going back to try the second pair. The first pair I threw out because they were so frustrating! ### 3/5 — Frustrating *2026-06-23, version 1.53.3* These are the best sleep buds, low profile, great noise cancelling. But Bluetooth connection issues are continuous. One update and bluetooth works, another update and they connect even when in the box. Another update and they cut off Bluetooth after a couple of minutes. I’ve followed every troubleshooting guide multiple time and keep hoping the next firmware update will resolve these basic issues, but nope. It doesn’t seem like basic improvements are a priority. So unfortunate and disappointing too because these could be so great. I utilize a number of gadgets to sleep: AC unit, and a cooling device for my mattress and these buds drown out the noise with soothing masking sounds. Unfortunately, they seldom do. I’ve had three sets and they are all the same. Fantastic for a few weeks and then nothing but trouble. One won’t come on (sometimes the left and sometimes the right) or neither will come on, or they come on and then drop after about one minute. My wife has a pair, and it is the same thing. They are so bad that I just give up and don’t even try them for weeks at a time. Then I’ll try and they still don’t work. But sometimes they do! And they are awesome! Every time you attempt to turn off this feature you will be hit with an error code and it will forcibly reactivate itself. This practice should be banned and the developers should be ashamed. The product is great but their data practices are concerning at best and truly unethical at worst. ### 1/5 — Oslo is a No Go *2026-07-25, version 1.53.3* Frequent disconnects during the night the sleepbuds quit playing the sleep-assist-sounds i have on my iPhone that I need to filter out my tinnitus. I had to go back to using my old Bluetooth sleep mask which never/ever disconnects. ### 1/5 — Horrible customer service *2026-07-18, version 1.53.3* Hi Ozlo Support, I’m extremely frustrated with my experience so far. I have clearly explained multiple times that my sleep buds are showing no power lights whatsoever and that the troubleshooting steps provided have already been attempted numerous times without success. Despite this, I continue to receive the exact same diagnostic email instructing me to reset the buds, which is not possible because they will not power on. I specifically purchased the insurance/replacement coverage to avoid situations like this. At this point, I am no longer seeking additional troubleshooting steps. I am requesting that my claim be escalated to a human representative and that a replacement under my coverage be processed immediately. Please confirm receipt of this message and provide the next steps for replacement. If additional information is needed, I am happy to provide it, but repeating the same reset instructions is not resolving the issue. Thank you, Sean Stone ### 1/5 — Aaaand it’s broken *2026-07-11, version 1.53.3* Got a new phone and tried to pair app to earbuds and nothing has worked. Followed all instruction videos for resetting the case. Unpaired it with my phone, reset case manually, tapped the case like instructed, still no luck getting app to function with earbuds. Earbuds are pairing to phone and app somehow, though, since at some point during the resetting they will start playing Ozlo music. I purchased them originally when I lived in the city and go not hear spouse who snores. I purchased the Ozlo 2 just the other day and have used them 2 nights now. The Ozlo 2 is worth the money - better sound and longer battery are amazing! Thanks Ozlo ### 5/5 — Well worth the price *2026-08-04* Amazing product! Unsure of earlier generations, this is my first Ozlo product, but they nailed it. The tech for customizing sleep sounds, when they start, how they integrate to your phone, etc is extremely well done. I like doing meditations to help quiet my brain before sleep, but am always annoyed that you have to end a session, put away earbuds, etc before going back to sleep. Now I can set a meditation, when it ends, go straight into sleep noises, and not worry about taking anything out or turning anything off. It’s seamless. The ergonomics of the buds are also extremely well designed. I’m a side-sleeper and barely feel these in my ears. I use an Apple Watch and Oura Ring. Last night, apple had my sleep score at 99; Oura had my sleep score at 97 (highest I’ve ever had). After suffering with disrupted sleep for years, I discovered the Bose sleepbuds six years ago. At the time, it was the first technology that offered relief and a good nights rest. I was devastated when they discontinued them, and frankly feared that when my Bose wore out there would be no alternative. Ozlo to the rescue! I watched with great hope and anticipation as the product was developed and ultimately launched. When the faithful day came and my Bose bit the dust, I joined team Ozlo— and am 110% satisfied. They advanced the technology and battery life of the original Bose, including streaming capability. This alone makes it a leader in the field. Comfortable, reliable and backed by years of development. Recommend without reservation. ### 5/5 — Sleep *2026-06-15, version 1.53.3* I’m an RN working nightshift which means sleeping during the day. It’s a difficult thing to do, the sun is out, the rest of the lives on per usual, and there can be so much noise. I thought I could solve both of these problems with a mask but it wasn’t for me as a side sleeper. These buds are amazing at blocking out sound, more so when audio is being played, but I digress. They’re extremely lightweight to the point you forget they’re in your ear and when I lay my head down on my pillow theres no discomfort, just nice noises to listen and relax to. Very happy I stumbled upon them (thank you Lindsey/Scrubhacks on YouTube, would never have known about them otherwise) a long time goal of mine has been to improve my sleep quantity and quality and these buds are helping take a big step in both directions.
