## What is P?

P-Way Vertical Design Calcs is a focused mobile calculator for UK permanent-way engineers designing vertical alignments — companion to our P-Way Horizontal Design Calcs.

Built around the standard UK formulas, it gives you the numbers you need at a desk, on site, or in a meeting: gradient between IPs, vertical curve radius, intermediate rail levels at any interval, displacement offsets along the curve, instantaneous grade change.

The beauty about this App is that you can add as many IPs as you want, with extra curves added automatically, allowing for miles of vertical alignment design.

You also have the option to automatically calculate all intermediate and curve displacement levels at 1m, 5m and 10m intervals.

Privacy: no data leaves the device. No accounts, no ads, no analytics.
