## What is P1 ChatOps?

P1 ChatOps is the certified mobile application for Platform One (P1) and its customers. In conjunction with Mattermost, P1 ChatOps provides secure chat and collaboration capabilities for mission execution.

The application is only intended for P1 customers. Contact your organization’s onboarding supervisor for instructions to connect to one of P1’s chat servers. Interested in becoming a customer? Learn more at https://p1.dso.mil.

If there has ever been an example of the Govt taking a good idea and ruining it, this is it. Secure messaging isn’t hard, but this app somehow makes it harder.
 If I could ask for a refund, I would.

Just as other users have experienced. I got logged out of Mattermost and was told to use this but it said wrong username or password despite me using same one I am already logged in on another device. Changed my password and it still says incorrect username or password. Will probably go back to Mattermost app.

This app is single-handedly one of the best and most innovative platforms we have ever built in the Air Force, alongside Puckboard. Replacing Signal, Whatsapp, and GroupMe with actual secure messaging was a great idea, and I see active innovation and integration only getting better. Mattermost was literally the same app so it can’t be better or worse. Sure, the transition had a few bugs and P1 ChatOps is a lengthy app name, but it’s worth a 5 star. With all the channels we have as pilots, it tends to become overwhelming to keep track of, but it’s much better than using anything else. Great app! Hope it keeps getting all the support it needs to continue integrating platforms and connecting pipelines.
