### 3/5 — Calendar View Alteration

*2026-05-15, version 4.22.0*

I’m a long time user of Paceline. Please bring back in calendar view the ability to see which days of the current week have been exercised on without having to fully click into the week. I want to please be able to open the calendar and see via a symbol on the calendar day if I worked out on a certain day or not. Bringing this back I think would help a lot of people feel more positively again about the app. The main use of the app for a lot of ppl is that calendar view and the ability to look at the calendar and see which days were worked out for the week and which days weren’t.

### 2/5 — Not worth it anymore

*2026-03-14, version 4.11.0*

I used to get a dollar to amazon, then the points changed and now the rewards are the same as if you googled a discount code. Nothing special. And this update took the one thing the was still worth it - the calendar view of workouts. It’s how I looked back to see what I did over the month, but now it’s gone. App isn’t worth it anymore.

### 3/5 — Meh

*2026-02-27, version 4.9.0*

It used to be great. This latest update where you can no longer see a calendar and a daily breakdown of your minutes is frustrating. Add this latest update to the bad marketplace and I might have to find something else. The developers don’t understand the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” logic. Stop changing!!

### 2/5 — Getting progressively worse

*2026-02-24*

I have been using Paceline for years. When I first started the rewards were gift cards to places people would actually go to, and then they did away with that in place of discounts for stuff most people don’t want . Then they did away with being able to see your friend’s minutes and support them and challenge them. Now they have the “social challenges” that the app arbitrarily decides whether its intensity minutes or steps. I’m actively looking for something that had the old features, even if there are no rewards, and I will probably be deleting my account with PaceLine soon. It is a shame because like I said I have been using this app for years and kept recommending it to people and now every update they do they change the interface and take away features that people liked.

The only reason it gets 2* is because I used to really like it.

### 1/5 — Limited actual rewards minimal reason to use

*2025-12-09, version 3.123.0*

The rewards marketplace is a joke there’s like one decent option outside of the app you can use being Starbucks and that’s spiked in price since the app launched. They used to have Amazon and target gift cards and the rewards were actually incentive ….. now if I want a coffee honestly less of a pain to just buy it vs compile 40,000 points for a 5$ card.

You used to be good and actually helpful with the rewards you offered. Do better or just let the app die all together because this….. this isn’t it.

Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it with what the app had when it first started.

Yes you’ve added new ways to fan points but that doesn’t help anything if the rewards aren’t good save like one and you’ve raised the cost of that one more and more .

### 2/5 — Bring back the real rewards

*2025-12-03, version 3.123.0*

I used to love this app! The Amazon, Starbucks, and other gift cards (even though they were for small amounts) were a great motivator. They also had awards where you could donate to charitable organizations which I loved. Now the only rewards are for the Paceline marketplace. Even if you earn a gift card amount…you still have to pay (for example, they’ll give you a discounted price if you use a certain amount of points…not possible to pay for an item fully with points even if you have a ton saved up). I’ve been waiting for a while for the app to get better but I am leaning towards deleting my account.

### 2/5 — No Rewards

*2025-11-30, version 3.122.0*

Thought you could earn rewards through this app…
Seems to be more of a discount of products they promote.

### 1/5 — Account user log in

*2025-11-30, version 3.122.0*

I am not able to log into my appleID account. I would like my points and rewards that I had been receiving over the course the years. Please fix this issue

### 1/5 — Said they would give me $40 for taking my info and they lied.

*2025-11-29, version 3.122.0*

I signed up through Swagbucks to get $40 and consented to my PERSONAL HEALTH INFORMATION TO BE TAKEN only to be “not approved” 2 months later. SCAMMERS!!!!!

### 1/5 — Garbage App

*2025-11-17, version 3.122.0*

I am supposed to connect my healthcare provider but the genius coderleft out a search field and after 5 minutes of scrolling and getting nowhere near it I gave up. I refuse to spend 12 hours scrolling. Way to waste my time for nothing.

### 1/5 — eHR minutes not syncing

*2025-11-12, version 3.122.0*

I have kept my app open and my workouts since Monday and my workouts are not syncing to my app and not giving me the points for the week so far. I would like to keep my streak going. Please fix this issue

### 1/5 — Account log in

*2025-11-06, version 3.122.0*

I have been logged out of my account and it’s asking for my information to log back in. Using my Apple ID it’s not letting me into my original account and I have to create a new one again for the third time this year. I am getting sick and tired of this. Please fix this right now with all my points that I’ve collected

### 2/5 — Punishes Healthy People

*2025-10-29*

So the data doesn’t seem to take into account healthiness and physical fitness, as that makes it more difficult to increase your heart rate, meaning the ranges it needs you to achieve are even harder to obtain, as if they weren’t difficult enough to obtained based on how vague the descriptions are in the app.

Say you’ve got a 15min workout where your avg heart rate is 160bpm, the app will only count maybe half of that if you’re lucky, which is really a huge pain.

The biggest issue I’ve noticed too is the “Leaderboards.” As you see people with insane numbers that make you question if they’re actually legitimate. For example, you see some people with almost 3hrs of exercise minutes within the first day a new leaderboard starts, which seems feasible, but then as the week progressed, you being seeing people with upwards of 10hrs, which is insane when you take everything into consideration.

The fact the app doesn’t explicitly say what heart rate range counts towards exercise minutes for it makes it even more of a pain since you end up doing a brutal workout for over an hour to only be rewarded with a mere fraction of that time as “exercise minutes.” It just doesn’t add up to me, and the lack of a moving average makes it punish healthy and fit people and have them not want to use the app in the long-run.

There is a lot of potential here though if the app gets things sorted out.

### 1/5 — Points Increase to Earn Gift Cards

*2025-10-09, version 3.121.0*

EDIT: They increased the points to earn Starbucks gift cards by A TON

I really enjoyed using Paceline, it was a great motivator, especially when I could redeem a gift card every couple of months. But lately, it feels like the number of points needed to redeem rewards keeps going up. Even though I consistently earn the maximum points each week, it now looks like it’ll take several months before I can redeem anything.

Also, I added myself to the waitlist for the Paceline card years ago, but I’ve never heard anything back. Just wanted to share some feedback as a longtime and engaged user.

### 1/5 — Limited actual rewards minimal reason to use

*2025-10-03, version 3.121.0*

The rewards marketplace is a joke there’s like one decent option outside of the app you can use being Starbucks and that’s spiked in price since the app launched. ### 1/5 — Purchased Built Bars

*2025-09-29, version 3.120.0*

9/29/2025

Purchases roughly $60 worth of BUILT PUFF BARS and have not received them. The 12 count sour puff mix, 12 count churro puff and 12 count banana cream pie. Please fix this before my next payment

### 1/5 — Getting worse

*2025-08-28, version 3.119.1*

They raised the price of a $5 Starbucks gift card from 24k points to 40k points. My mom’s account can’t even get a Starbucks gift card. All other rewards require you to pay for shipping to buy some product you don’t need. Becoming more worthless by the day.

### 3/5 — It’s just ok

*2025-08-22, version 3.119.1*

The app used to be ok. But the amount of points needed to redeem rewards has gone up significantly

### 1/5 — Should of read reviews first…

*2025-08-18, version 3.119.1*

***Update*** All of a sudden, the only button on the bottom available is fin serv which I already filled out. No idea if it’s logging this new week’s activities. What a bunch of goods…..So I look at the description: they monetize your data and you get fit through exercise and get rewarded with gift cards. So I sign up, fork over dozens of data points and when I look at the rewards section: no gift cards. Just coupons off merchandise they sell and brands I’ve never even heard of. Lame! All the recent reviews point this out but I went by their own description.

### 2/5 — Declined

*2025-08-13, version 3.119.1*

When I first started using this app it had a lot of options and more obtainable goals now there is no target gift card and the Starbucks went from 24,000 pts to 40,0000 pts kinda getting ridiculous don’t you think?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Amazfit watch not found

*2026-06-24, version 4.30.0*

I have an Amazfit watch that I would like to connect but you don’t have this option for connection. Please add this fitness watch company to your list. Please and thank you.

### 1/5 — Used to love this app …

*2026-06-15, version 4.28.0*

But since it’s gotten rid of the gift card option, I’m going to delete it. The options it offers to redeem points for do not have any options that work for me or dietary restrictions.

### 1/5 — Rewards are pointless

*2026-05-22, version 4.25.0*

App used to have great rewards. Amazon gift cards were amazing. Now the rewards are like 5% off a retailer you wouldn’t ever have purchased from which is less than buying from the actual website and including shipping making you pay MORE for something you don’t want. This is not even worth it.

### 1/5 — This app sucks now

*2026-04-13, version 4.18.0*

This app used to be one of my favorite apps. I would check it every day and look forward to getting the points. I would exchange them for target and Starbucks gift cards and it was really a lot of fun. Now, all of the rewards are not anything that I’m interested in. Bring back the gift cards and I will redownload the app.

### 1/5 — No longer worthy app

*2026-04-07, version 4.18.0*

It used to be way better but now it’s completely useless!

### 1/5 — Long time user

*2026-03-04, version 4.11.0*

I have used the app for literal years at this point, I had a 188 week streak and now suddenly the app isnt synching all of my data. I lost my streak and my points and customer service keeps telling me it is fixed. Very disappointing!

### 1/5 — App has been broken for a while

*2026-01-27, version 3.123.0*

Requires you to “recreate” your account everytime you open it. Literally asks for your name and phone number everytime. Not worth the hassle. Deleting it

### 1/5 — Need to be fix

*2026-01-15, version 3.123.0*

Apparently the application is not track like it should last week it stop working on tracking

### 1/5 — Broken

*2025-12-28, version 3.123.0*

App suddenly won’t connect with fitness device and broke my 52 week streak

### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service, Deleting App

*2025-12-10*

When I first started using this app, it was really awesome and I hade ZERO issues. Now, over the last several months, every so often, I have an issue where the data is missing for a day and when I reach out with proof , they would manually add it for me. For some reason, I reached out a few days ago and am getting pushback stating it won’t be added manually with the nastiest response. On top of that, the 2 tickets I submitted were just closed without out reviewing, resolution or response by a Heather S, Customer Support Manager. She could use a few lessons is etiquette and proper customer service, horrible nasty attitude. Something that was once an enjoyable incentive for exercising has not become a hassle and no longer worth dealing with. Plus, most of the stuff being offered is just you using your point to get hostile discounts on nothing most would want to spend money on. The free gift cards were better. Using my remaining points, deleting the app and moving on. Don’t bother using it, just a waste of time.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — No rewards

*2025-06-25, version 3.117.0*

Downloaded the app but quickly realized it’s not worth having on my phone.

### 5/5 — Tried it, won something and now I trust it

*2024-04-04*

I have been using Paceline for a bit over a year now (I think, maybe more). I started using it because I liked the idea of getting rewarded for being active, which I was already (so it was a low effort decision). I stuck up on points and noticed that I would have to get a lot of points to get something worth it for me. Because I have it linked to my Garmin I basically paid little to no attention to it for a long time other than the ocasional giveaway ticket purchase. About a week ago I won the Garmin giveaway, had a great experience with the person from customer service and was able to get a brand new heart monitor from Garmin! So, pretty happy about it! Also, I signed up for the credit card maybe at the end of last year and I haven’t heard anything about it since then, but I would be interested in looking into that if available in the future. I like the user experience of the app and as long as I can get the ocasional value from them while keeping active I would keep using it! Not sure how Paceline does it or how they keep their profits, but kudos to them for promoting active humans and rewarding them!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review and for your support of our mission to get people moving! Congratulations on your win!

### 5/5 — Getting a step closer to my health goals each day!

*2022-08-24, version 3.18.0*

I have been using the Paceline app for almost 2 months now and love how it keeps me motivated to complete an exercise every day. When it comes to achieving a health goal, consistency is key and the Paceline app makes it super easy to stay consistent. The rewards are diverse and I get to learn about new brands each week. Happy to have come across this app!

### 5/5 — Best Product and Card Ever

*2022-08-24, version 3.18.0*

I have been on Paceline for 100+ weeks now and not only has it changed the way I think about exercise—I am not far more consistent than I have ever been before—but I now associate my spending habits and financial life with much better, healthy habits as I think a lot about how my holistic health is improved by better physical and financial habits together!

### 5/5 — Run (no pun intended) towards this app and card!

*2022-08-22*

This app is PERFECT for both parties new to fitness and those trying to start a fitness routine. I’ve been on both ends of the coin and more so recently, on the side trying to build a regime again. The PaceLine app with its badges and streaks is super motivating. It ensures I get my workouts in and because I’m working out, I’m eating right. I get rewarded for that TOO with the cash back I receive from making my health and wellness purchases with the PaceLine credit card (food, gym membership, etc!) really a win win! I highly recommend this app to anyone trying to change their lifestyle and get rewarded for it. Also, the credit card is so cool, I always get asked about it when I pull it out at the register!

### 5/5 — Sick of being sick!

*2022-08-22*

After battling mold toxicity (fatigue, insomnia, headaches, weight gain and more) for over a year, I needed something to really get me back on track. Exercise is KEY to getting rid of mold but I was too exhausted to do it consistently. Oddly enough, closing the rings on the Paceline app was a huge inspiration and brought me back to my old self. Even if my body told me I was too tired to work out, the app inspired me to do it and now I’m feeling more and more like me. I also love learning about new health and wellness companies so it’s been fun to try out rewards.

After a few months I tried the card too…and I’m obsessed with seeing cash back on the things I’m already spending money on to get my health back…groceries, constant medical bills and more! Thanks for making me feel like me again, Paceline!

### 5/5 — Get the credit card!!!

*2022-08-21, version 3.18.0*

I know there’s been a lot of negative reviews as of late about the app rewards change but you all should try out the card. This thing is amazing. Those $1 and $5 Starbucks cards everyone is complaining about are dwarfed by the dollars in cash back I’m seeing hitting my account statement every day...assuming I continue to crush my workouts. And the app is still pretty sweet. There’s no risk in trying the card so before you knock it give it a roll. You’re welcome.

### 5/5 — 1,000 Perfect Days

*2022-08-20*

50 minutes of activity a day for 1,000 days is my goal and I am at more than 500 already! The rewards are like icing on a cake but what gives me joy is seeing my ring close each day and being at the top of the list before my friends who are also striving for perfect days. When the credit card came out, I started earning 3% on everything and 5% at grocery and drug stores. I even get 5% back on my gym membership and for athletic wear - which is all I’ve been wearing since Covid. It has replaced my Amex card for everyday purchases. But most of all, even when I’m stressed or tired, wanting to hit my 50 minutes gets me out the door for a walk or bike ride or to the gym. That’s paid off both physically and mentally. Thank you Paceline for the motivation when I need it the most.

### 5/5 — Really cool concept

*2022-08-19*

I started using Pacelines regularly about a year ago. It was good for motivation. Had an issue with my older Apple Watch (cracked, dropped it into a lake) and contacted customer service so I wouldn’t lose my streak and they mentioned the credit card offers a new Apple Watch essentially for free as long as I get my minutes in. The $60 yearly fee wasn’t a big deal because you easily make that back in rewards. I’m not a big math guy but between the free Apple Watch, weekly rewards and the cash back that I get from my purchases, it seemed like a no brainer. I’m pretty cheap so you best believe I’ll be getting my minutes in each week. My other credit cards just motivate me to spend money at restaurants and travel, which is how I got out of shape in the first place.

### 5/5 — Get rewarded for being healthy

*2022-08-18*

I've been a Paceline user for a little more than a year, and I love it. I think anything that promotes physical and financial health is phenomenal, but to also be rewarded for doing activities I already enjoy doing is a tremendous bonus. There aren't any gimmicks or gotcha's. It's a very simple premise, and it's completely free to use. I like how I can get discounts on things I'm already buying anyway, and I think it's cool to discover new brands every single week that I might be interested in. Additionally, the Paceline credit card is my new go-to. I get 5% cash back on things like grocery stores and gym memberships just by working out, and I still get 3% cashback year-round on everything else; that's far better than any other credit card that I have. As someone who cares about the intrinsic value of being healthy, using Paceline to get additional rewards for doing things I already personally care about is amazing.
